I have never sold my bitcoins, because I stick to investing in the long term. So my first bitcoin is still with me.

Sticking to Bitcoin is possible if you are financially buoyant, you can hold even when there is a rise in the price, for me I tend to take profit and  invest into aLTCOIN, But I ensure I hold a certiain amount  of Bitcoin everytime. I believe strongly about in Bitcoin and the fundamentals.

I have enough shitcoins that'll almost certainly die to know it's very stupid to get emotionally attached to anything. It certainly isn't emotionally attached to you.

If BTC stopped serving my purposes I'd walk away without thinking twice. I'd dig what it gave me but that's about it. In this space emotion is your eternal enemy. The less you have the better off you'll be.

To me in business is not bound to emotionally. Only the right look at the price? Sell or not to sell? If selling words or holes? There is a need for investment in bitcoin. Thanks
if i be OP and hold my coins because emotion, i will miss chance to sell it in high price. he said bought in 2016 when price getting increased step by step, and now it is back to down again. for normal people i will regret not sell my coins only because of that

It has been 2 years that I bought my First bitcoin. I have never been able to sell or trade it. Is it only me who is emotionally binded or does this happened with anyone else?

Also, is it a good thing to be emotionally attached so much to Bitcoins?
then why do you invest? whether you fall in love with bitcoin, "oh bitcoin will u merry me" LOL
You must think relevant, in using feelings too deep, remember. bitcoin has a very big risk, if you love it too much, if for example you experience a loss one day you will experience depression, and you might kill yourself. WTF  Cheesy

Not emotionally but yes I am also. bound to bitcoin and as we all know that bitcoin is very sustainable crypto currency and it has even proved its sustainability by maintaining its existence since over one decade and still rising with a very high rate and no wonder that anyone who is using bitcoin and those who are getting their jobs through bitcoin since for a very long time is going to love it and I respect your feelings too that you are that much bound to bitcoin that you has kept your first bitcoin since last 2 years.

No actually there is no sense on getting attached to bitcoin unless you brought an expensive bitcoin and until now you are still not getting the amount you invested on bitcoin because of its market price fall down. A huge dip for bitcoin is happening and this is alarming also for the crypto investors.

I am not like that, because for me buying bitcoin is to get a profit, so when there is an advantage I will sell it, and when it is possible to buy what I think will make a profit, then I will buy it.
I have the same view as you, I don't have a deep impression when I get my first bitcoin so maybe that makes me not emotionally bound to my first bitcoin,
I always sell my bitcoins when the price reaches the target, interesting questions, if bitcoin prices soar very high, will you sell your bitcoin?

Bitcoin has turned into a piece of me since I began participating in this bitcointalk forum It changed my life a considerable measure with regards to the manner in which I look later on to the extent budgetary stresses are concern. It improved me a man on the best way to deal with my opportunity and crypto resources yet there are extremely intense circumstances that I never hope to happen that I know offering my bitcoin is the main final resort that I need to sort things of. Be that as it may, luckily, the plunge of 5,000$ has flagged me to purchase bitcoin again and im glad holding it now.

I have never sold my first bitcoins either, in the start when i bought new altcoins I even bought the same amount in bitcoins or more than I was spending Bitcoins on altcoins.
I still think Bitcoins will be the best bet I can do, to make sure I have money to spend in the future.
Being emotional attachment to any investments can be a bad thing.  Shorting Bitcoins in 2018 would have been a good investment, and it might still be in the next few days. However I going to keep holding my bitcoins.

It's not wise to make an emotional connection. The more the price falls, the more you lose and the more psychological damage you experience. In such things, emotional links cause you to miss opportunities.
If we miss the opportunity so we will loss confident and its caused our emotion in trading getting increase.
If you dont sell your bitcoin in good price so you will regret it now and of course regret always come in the end of the story.

People often keep a keepsake of their first dollar earned. Some people keep it for life and even pass it on to their grandchildren. That's nice. I haven't sold my first bitcoin yet, but not because of sentimental feelings, just waiting for a good price increase.

Why not leave your first bitcoin. Although now it makes no sense to sell it as the price is very low. It will be a great memory for you in the future if you like to be nostalgic.

If your Bitcoin is now exchanged into cash, of course the profits you get are many times over, and surely you have become rich if you sell it now, unlike what I feel I have never been strong in holding Bitcoin if the price has exceeded the price when I bought it, but once in a while I always add my Bitcoin from the money left over from the necessities of life.

Actually your patience was kinda inspiration for the bitcoiners, because you know sometimes it such a really hard to keep our first bitcoin since 2 years and has nothing to do with it like you just keeping it, comparing with some people who has bitcoin nowadays really looking at how's the market going.

in the world of cryptocurrency trade especially bitcoin will indeed cause emotional feelings. Because dipikiran we between selling or holding it thing that depends on the lust on ourselves. You are a great person who can muffle this emotional dam and trade
"dipikiran" This proves that you’re right, your passion is seen here writing down about your experience so far until you forgot to correct what google translate had given.
To me in business is not bound to emotionally. Only the right look at the price? Sell or not to sell? If selling words or holes? There is a need for investment in bitcoin.
However humans are affected by their emotional and subconscious minds unless they are mentally disordered, so I don’t agree with your sentence and anyway you look unsure of your own sentence.

I keep my bitcoins not because I'm emotionally attached to them, but because I rationally think, I understand that it will grow. I regard emotional dependence on my finances as greed. But everyone thinks in their own way.

Im not totally emotionally bound but Im more on having a hard time deciding whether to hold or sell because of the way I think we or mostly of us have this kind of habit that is so undecisive on whether what we should do to our token. Just be mindful and do a research if you think you arent sure whether its good to hold it for a long time. Me, I usually hold coins not by emotional connection but kerepy on the way i think of whether it has a future ahead of it.

Like you i still hold on to my bitcoin because i know that bitcoin would have a higher value in the future. We should be not emotionally attached to bitcoin because with that our emotions will be hard to control.

i do feel the same, holding is make us feels good and also make us doubt what we do, we keep expecting that we would sell it at the good price but i think its not good, you should set a goal when to sell so it would make you sure to earn money and also try to divide it would be good, maybe half for day trading and half for hold for long term.
