Holding is a great policy but you should also consider selling it in the next bull run.

It has been 2 years that I bought my First bitcoin. I have never been able to sell or trade it. Is it only me who is emotionally binded or does this happened with anyone else?

Also, is it a good thing to be emotionally attached so much to Bitcoins?
I think that every investor at some point falls in love with some of his investments, but you must remember why you bought that coin on the first place and while I'm is speculating I suppose you bought that coin to get profits in the future and if that is the case you need to prepare yourself mentally that at some point in the future you are going to need to sell that coin and materialize those profits.

I think you should not be so emotionally attached to bitcoin. And then suddenly you or your family will need money urgently, and you will have to sell it. You will be depressed.

in my opinion it is emotional that is indeed in some people, they are too loving and until they do not want to separate from the first coin. But it is unfortunate if the price of bitcoin decreases, the loss is waiting in front of the eyes ...

if you buy bitcoin 2 years ago and still hold it until now you might be one of those people who will definitely get a big profit when you intend to sell bitcoin at a high price. keep hold until bitcoin is in the best and highest position to get profit.

Bitcoin is money... do you keep your fiat coins in a special place?  Grin
I feel no emotional attachment... in fact I tend to dislike bitcoin as it is the rich people coin. A coin that is controlled by whales and which purpose is getting less and less important as other coins rise up to do faster and cheaper transactions...
Ok, a lot of small people made some money with bitcoin last year.... but how many have lost a whole lot of it this year??
cheers

If there's no risk then its boring, BTC is what I do for fun.I think it would be better if you sell it at the right time, waiting for a soaring bitcoin price may take a long time.

I think that this is a kind of mental disorder. You can not be so dependent on the numbers on the monitor screen. You should rethink this situation. There is no difference - whether bitcoin is one of the first or you bought it recently.

I have some bitcoin in my wallet which I never touch I save that for the future die to the fact that I believe that bitcoin is going to surprise the world again just as it deed in 2017 turning ordinary people into millionaire's within a month and also it a normal thing to get emotionally attached to bitcoin I call that the bitcoin romantic glue once you have you will not like to let it go.

The money should work even if it is the digital money. You could sell Bitcoin for the highest price, and buy more BTC later when they became cheaper. I see it like this.

It's normal for people who don't sell the first bitcoin. But those who buy today at $ 6,000 may have to sell it if they need cash.

BIG WINNER!

What really happens to you so that you don't sell your first bitcoin, is it just emotionally bound? I think that reason I still can't understand, if you don't sell it because you really intend to hold it / investment for the long term like 5 years to 10 years then I can still understand it. Because after all the crypto market will still continue to fluctuate and you have to wait longer if you expect big profits.

The money should work even if it is the digital money. You could sell Bitcoin for the highest price, and buy more BTC later when they became cheaper. I see it like this.
In some particular events, some people chooses to hold and look for long term gains, they are aiming to see how high bitcoin can go and how things will change their lives, it mentions that the surprise take many people become wealthy and if that trend happens again it will be much higher, we dont know when it will happen and how things will turned our investment but if OP believes i holding no problem with that gain will be sweeter for sure.
