can somebody explain why Betcoin.ag asking me some silly question after winning the freeroll?
Crosspost: this is a pure shit. i won 4th place 30mBTC in this 250 GTD freeroll and betcoin.ag asking me silly question after i tried to withdraw.I want to know is there any winner who successfully cash out from Betcoin.ag?i just laughing when they asked from whom and where i got the tournament password, really a pure shit of wasting time by playing 3-4 hours. the chat support failed to answer my question and closed after i said that i am from bitcointalk and i took all the screenshot of your chat.
Betcoin.AG acting shady? Now who would have expected that. Lutpin, if you did your research, then you'd know that in order to qualify for the freeroll, the participant must be a member of the affiliate program sponsoring the contest. The questions are in place to protect legitimate players from password scalpers....What happens is people sell, share, or blog post passwords to tournaments which non-legitimate players exploit, thereby cheating legitimate players out of there award. The questions are in place to protect honest players from dishonest users, which seems to be the case here.

couple of questions...
- when was the last time somebody won the BBJ? - who was the player who won it?
- Never - Nobody For the first year+ they denied it existed despite collecting .01 mbtc per qualifying pot (I believe over 16 btc) This has nothing to do with the Betsoft progressive jackpots though. Just an example of Betcoins irresponsible behavior.

It's been exactly 1 year since I opened my account here. Betcoin collected for a BBJP that didn't exist, I called them out.

It's been exactly 1 year since I opened my account here. Betcoin collected for a BBJP that didn't exist, I called them out. Twitchy, as we've discussed in PM, we've both come to the agreement that they were very inexperienced with poker room management. Even though someone from management stated the BBJ didn't exist when the counter was still going at around 5-7 BTC's (?), had it been hit, I'm sure they still would have paid it out. They've done over 4 freerolls (5, 10, 10, 10 respectively I believe) so they're not sweating over a BBJ. It was mismanagement/misguidance/incompetence for them to state the BBJ didn't exist, but you keep bringing it up as if it was a scam, which obviously it wasn't. My point is that you're trying to find anything you can to use against them. Half of the online businesses could be scrutinized by your standards. I'm not saying they responsibly handled issues, but half the time in the past, they don't even know what you're ragging about because they're on 20 hour days handling different issues and catering to different players (Sadly enough some players were catered to while the unlucky ones were ignored). Do they need more staff? Sure. But the combination of them being totally overworked and the demands of the players simply came to a boil, which was why a lot of things were done irresponsibly.

The problem is, in the past year they have done nothing to show that they have gained (or want) any more experience with running a poker room. So the question is, how many more "honest mistakes" should we allow? When do you think the last one will be? How much money will be lost because of it?

Even though someone from management stated the BBJ didn't exist when the counter was still going at around 5-7 BTC's (?), had it been hit, I'm sure they still would have paid it out. There were no terms. No Rules. Managment (paul) confirmed it didn't exist. There was a 0% chance of it being hit, there was nothing to hit. You knew about it and did nothing because you're more interested in your own personal bottom line. You are scum. Get it? It was mismanagement/misguidance/incompetence for them to state the BBJ didn't exist, but you keep bringing it up as if it was a scam, which obviously it wasn't. It's scumbags like you that make them think they can get away with scummy stuff like overcharging rake, collecting for BBJP that didn't exist, waiting for cheaters to request cashout before freezing account, running no collusion freeroll and allowing colluders to play in it, seizing funds from cheaters and not returning all funds to victims, etc. The bottom line is you want betcoin to succeed because when they profit you profit - so you defend their reputation at all costs while doing whatever you can to get new signups and more deposits. Meanwhile, they're doing nothing but damage to the reputation of Bitcoin Poker.

In other news, Betcoin has been ignoring JasonOrt and this freeroll never happened. During the fireside chat, Jasonort has announced a self funded Thank You Freeroll that Betcoin Poker will match which will take place on Sunday, July 24, 2016. Details to follow! Mark your calendars!

Received temporary banhammer after typing 'bump' to a forum post about the slot scandal. It makes me feel safe knowing that they have SWAT-like response times to people bumping posts to a 6-figure scam. If I ever murder someone, my first call will be to a Betcoin staff member.

Did they seriously take money out of the guy's account (which was shorted in the first place because of the jackpot scam) and then not hold a freeroll with it?
That's literally stealing.

It will happen when they see fit. How about returning the funds to jasonart if they cancelled the freeroll. Money is very very tight.

we've both come to the agreement that they were very inexperienced with poker room management.
The problem is, in the past year they have done nothing to show that they have gained (or want) any more experience with running a poker room. So the question is, how many more "honest mistakes" should we allow? When do you think the last one will be? How much money will be lost because of it? They're starting to be pretty proactive in managing the poker room. Staff like Stuart, Aidan, Robert, Danny, and more (apologies if I missed you) all put in the work when it comes to reviewing and overlooking the poker room. I can't give more details regarding what they do exactly because it involves on-going investigations, but they've definitely cleaned things up quite a bit. When you take a look at the poker room, you can't find a single colluder in the cash games, and this is all because of the environment created by the close knit community and ease of communication. I would say this is a pretty good poker environment.
