So you thought they had stopped posting in this thread because  of you  Grin Huh LOL.. Now they come back with paid for post deal for Legendary Members getting tickets to 5btc Freeroll for posting 15 favorable posts.. Shocked LOL...they are not going away as I told you. Although it may look as if you are getting some traction on powerfraudalert.com site, I remind that those people posting there go along for the ride on every complaint posted....what I want to know if where is the proof that you said you were working on?  Undecided  Seems to me they are going to outwit and outlast you with all the money being thrown around. Good luck with your crusade...but remember money talks...it looks as if you are alone in this crusade of yours.

PS  How can they have 81 player collusion pool when they average less than half of that in players logged in, according to pokerscout.  Are the colluders colluding against each other?  So if they banned all colluders they would not have any  players left?  Wink

He still plays on Betcoin all the time, he post here and other places then goes and play on them.

So twichyseal is OHYEAH? Now I understand why he is mad, but he is partly to blame by falling for the skype trap.

What exactly was the "skype trap?"  I've heard mention of it in chat but didn't pay enough attention to figure out exactly how the "scam" worked...I know a little about it, but I'm not well informed on its dynamics.

He accepted to share skype contact details with unknown, who then got his IP address and attacked his IP and disconnected him from tables.

Oh, okay...I kinda of gathered that much.  So, all the perpetrator needed was his victims IP address which they can get by other means and not necessarily thru a skype contact?  So, would that have been the victims personal router IP or the servers IP?  I ask because I'm trying to figure out if the victim could be targeted specifically or if that could affect a group of users all at once.

Yes, it looks as if the guy had his IP address prior to accepting the skype request, because he reset the router before that. I have no idea how he got his IP. I believe it would be the IP of the computer connected to the internet that twichy was using while playing. Perhaps someone with more knowledge of how this works can post so we can protect ourselves from this.

We first need to know how this worldpeace guy got twichy's IP in the first place. I think twichy is pissed in part b/c the betcoin rep only asked if worldpeace had apologized to him, as if that would solve the problem of being blocked from playing in the middle of 2 tourneys and some cash games. That response from the rep makes no sense.
I would like to apologize to twichy. I now think he is trying to do the right thing.

Why are you making this "TwitchySeal Vs wwwin" ?  At first we seemed to be on the same page as far as Betcoin acting scummy - you just thought I was wasting my time trying to make change.

Now you're mostly trolling/personally attacking me and pointing out only positive things about Betcoin - as if free roll or any other promo could justify over charging anyone, allowing a single cheater to keep money/keep account etc.

As for the proof you're waiting on, it's coming, but most of it won't be anything I haven't already said.  It's just most of the issues are complicated, when you see everything in one place, easier to understand, you will appreciate my efforts.  There are a couple things I hope to be able to share but can't yet, and I promise not to do that scummy tease thing I just did anymore.

PS  How can they have 81 player collusion pool when they average less than half of that in players logged in, according to pokerscout.  Are the colluders colluding against each other?  So if they banned all colluders they would not have any  players left?  Wink

I don't know.  It's a screen shot of support communicating with each other unaware it would be made public.  Why don't you ask them?

He still plays on Betcoin all the time, he post here and other places then goes and play on them.

This is a lie.  My last Betcoin WPN MTT was mid October. SharkScope

I played maybe one or two daily coins and 100-200 hands of cash in early November before they banned me, none since.

But even if you were telling the truth, so what?

Why are you lying about me?

To be clear about the Dos Worldpeace thing:

I AM NOT PISSED AT ANYONE BUT MYSELF THAT THIS HAPPENED.  IT'S MY FAULT I DIDN'T SECURE MY IP.

I also think of all the issues, it's one of the smallest.  The only reason I've brought it up here, on 2p2 and PFA is because it serves as a very good example of Betcoin handling an issue that started off as not their fault at all - very very poorly.

I was cheated, it sucked but it was my fault.

I told Betcoin about it so they could stop him from cheating others.

Paul responded in one sentence asking me if he apologized and then pretended like I didn't exist every time I've asked them about it since.

Disclaimer: I am not blaming betcoin for this issue.

I'm making this post to raise awareness that this kind of thing can happen and how it can be avoided. I also want to make sure as many people as possible know what a piece of shit worldpeace is, and hope to see his account banned.

No need to apologize.  Really the worldpeace ddos thing is a very small piece of the big picture here.  Everything is a very small issue compared to the big picture of the way they running things. So Just PLEASE when I make the new thread (I don't even know where it's going to be but you won't miss it ) READ IT.  I know right now it's all hard to understand the way its spread out and I am a noob at explaining things like this but it's surprisingly difficult.

Well, I don't know how much the site can be held responsible.  And, to be honest, I'm not quite sure exactly what TwitchySeal's goals are with this campaign.  I do know that I have read his complaints and considered his evidence objectively.  I have been looking thru my own database and I've been doing my own calculations but I have not been able to find any major discrepancies.  I did find a small "tweaky" discrepancy which was handled by support in a kind, generous, and timely manner.  So, I don't know if he's doing the right thing, but I do know he has the right to be angry.

We don't have enough information and Twichy posted that this is minor compared to what he will show. At this point I will have an open mind and will read carefully what Twichy has to say and also will take into account that the site is paying people to post favorable posts and is seeking Legendary Members to post 15 favorable posts in exchange for a ticket to enter the 5 btc freeroll. This by  itself seems kind of shady.

At any rate, if the site knew that worldpeace had done this before and he was not banned then the site would certainly be responsible for twichys's loses, while the site seems to think, based on twichy's postings, that the culprit apologizing should be enough compensation for the monetary losses incurred.

Twitchyseal / OHYEAH logs into Betcoin.ag everyday guys which is great and we welcome him anytime so long as he is not spamming which has been under control.  Not to mention the many multi-accounts we had to shut down that also logged in frequently.  He has earned a Betcoin Poker PLAYERS CLUB 5 BTC VIP Freeroll ticket to the January 10 tournament and is very welcome to play in this tournament and enjoy playing at Betcoin anytime.  We thank everyone for their support and we look forward to making Betcoin exceptional for all of you in 2016.

I used to play at betcoinpoker some Hold'em free rolls. I haven't played for a while but yesterday I went to play and saw there was no more on demand Holde'm freerolls. So, what happened to them?

There are On Demand freerolls, but at the moment the On Demand freefrolls are for PLO until the end of December, I believe.  It's a promotional thing. Not for sure on that time frame though.  It's nice to have things changed up a little for awhile....the hold em freerolls will return too soon, I'm assuming.

Thank you cjmoles this is exactly correct.

BetCris was one of the sites that was absorbed, along with many other sites, by the Winning Poker Network (WPN). Betcoin.ag is part of the WPN so the software and the player pool used by Betcoin.ag are controlled by the parent company which is the Winning Poker Network. The specific dynamics of the individual contract that Betcoin.ag has with the WPN I don't know but the rest can be Googled.

Betcoin is NOT part of the WPN, they are part of the WTN.  I'd like an answer from someone who works for the site, not a fan who is trying to win a free ticket thanks.

Sorry, I was just trying to be helpful.  I never heard of the WTN (please tell me more about it) but I've been playing on the WPN for about ten years now so I do recognize the regs in the pool.

WTN is the 'Winning Tournament Network'.  You don't get the full benefits of being a skin, you just get to have your players play in the tournaments and SNGs WPN offers.

Thank you for trying to help, but you obviously don't know the inside information that Betcoin support does (neither do I, of course).  The question I have is really "why did you take a month off from this forum after being asked this question", but it's more diplomatic to ask it in the way that I did.

Wow....nice!  I just looked it up.  I learned something today.  You know, I asked Phil directly how all the different skins were related but he didn't explain it all that well; he just said that each skin negotiates their own contracts on an individual basis.  Thanks.  That actually answers a lot of my own questions.  So, Betcoin.ag is a part of the WTN and the WTN is a part of the WPN.
