is the automated table starter rake back working again?... also some explaining certainly needs to be done about the recent rake concerns... no response from BetcoinAG looks bad indeed!

Well the good news (I guess) is that Betcoin is still reading this thread!

https://www.betcoin.ag/ring-game-rake-testers-needed

I don't understand why they wouldn't at the very least pop in here and say "oh that's strange we'll look into it" or "thanks for the heads up".  Or, you know, answer the question that Dooglus asked them after they said "there are no difficult questions, we'll answer anything".  Odd!  I was actually starting to worry since it's been 5 days with radio silence from Betcoin on here.  Thankfully it looks like everything is fine and they are still active on their message board, they are just avoiding this one.  I wonder why?

I hope ftwbtc isn't fooling anyone here.

He doesn't know darkdays screen name, it's been almost a month since the first time I told him that my last session on Betcoin was in mid October.  He's also fully aware I've been banned ever since.

I guess he can't come up with any way to defend betcoin that's based on reality so he just keeps making shit up.

You guys are funny.  All the problems you have but you still play everyday.

Quote
Why not play somewhere else?

Quote
Take your money elsewhere.  I have had a wonderful time at Betcoin

It seems he's been at this for quite some time too.

November 30th he claims he sees more players than ever on Betcoin!

I go to Betcoin.ag and see more people playing poker, communicating in the forum, the sportsbook, casino and the dice tournaments than ever.  270 people online right.  Keep doing what you are doing guys because as this forum proves you can't please everyone.

Over 6 months ago he was trying to discredit someone using the same tactics.

Ah so this is about a personal issue you had with one of the chat reps?  This makes even more sense to actually complain about a $0.50 cent bonus.  I have played on Betcoin for awhile and I have not had a problem with my bonus and I have seen Betcoin grow averaging 300 plus players a day now.  I would think there would be more complaints than one person about a $0.50 cent bonus if something was wrong.  Also, as I said they should have just paid you something to end this.  Betcoin hasn't done everything right, but they have worked hard and made some good strides.  I chose to comment because when there is a problem, like your bad experience with a customer support rep, you are quick to comment but positive comments never make it to this thread.  Anyways, good luck to you and I actually do hope you get your $0.50 cent bonus and they take care of you.

Other people have posted about the same issue but you have chosen to ignore  it.

I just checked their website Betcoin.ag and it shows over 300 people online.  What people do you speak of?

So last week he saw 270 players which was more than ever.

But last April there were 300 happy players without complaints.

He also says he's been playing at Betcoin since beta.

That thread is a joke.

I spread word about the rake and people were pissed about it.

The only reason they made it was for a chance to hand out free tickets to the daily coin to make everyone happy and forget about the whole thing.

SickMetaGame posted a few hands and confirmed 0.5 mbtc cap was working correctly.  Another player confirmed.

None of the hands came even close to the cap.

They both got tournament tickets, Betcoin can say they investigated win win.

Betcoin Andrew: What table is that? I am going to create a forum post and let's get some testing on the rake please. Need to make sure it is accurate after an update about 10 days ago.

Betcoin Andrew: There were a few tables that were off after an update, creating the forum post SMG.
Betcoin Andrew: You are welcome ice. It's valuable feedback that gets rewarded from time to time. We appreciate it.

Betcoin Andrew: Hey SMG

fallenhigh: ill take a daily coin ticket
StareYouDown: Betcoin Andrew is in christmas spirit today Smiley
Betcoin Andrew: Very welcome ice. Get in that daily coin from us to apologize for the delay.

Why would they need players to "test the rake" anyway? It's like they dont even know how to read a hand history.

Yeah I mean it very clearly isn't working correctly (the rake that is).  Anyone can open any table and watch for 5 minutes and see at least one pot get overraked.  I read that thread, said "oh maybe they fixed it" and the FIRST hand at the FIRST table I opened got raked 8mB when the rake was supposed to be 2.

I hope that in addition to the daily coin tickets they are handing out they are putting a plan in place to compensate all of the players that have had the incorrect amount of rake taken from their pots.  Betcoin is always bragging about how many players they have playing so the refunds due could get into the hundreds of coins.

Are you still having the BitcoinTalk tournament this weekend?  If so Saturday or Sunday?  Is OishiMike still updating the leaderboard here?  I will also ask on the forum.  Thanks.  Any bounties scheduled?

I actually came to ask about the bitcointalk tournament but I will also send a ticket because I don't see OP for the bitcointalk thread here.  Will that run this weekend.  Great value and good concept.

No response to your ticket?  Almost 24 hours?  Weird....

The tournament will happen this saturday at 2pm est.  The leader board will continue, bounties will be announced.

I actually forgot to send the ticket but when I did just after my second post today they responded within a few minutes.  I want them to respond here so that it becomes more productive in here again but I understand why they haven't.

Thanks for the update twitchyseal as I do see it in the lobby for this Saturday.  Any idea how I can make myself a bounty?

Please explain why you feel that they have orphaned their own support thread?  Nobody has been disrespectful (except for you), nobody has been rude (except for you), they have literally said that they thought that all of the comments were "pretty cool" and encouraged players to ask questions.  One question was asked that they legit couldn't ignore and continue unphased...so they left.

Also you still have avoided the question on what your name on Betcoin is.

Betcoin has been run out of town.

I think they were forced to decide between ignoring what they want to ignore and having a presence in the forums.

A scam?  One thing we always see is the word scam being used very freely here at Bitcointalk.  We can't control if some bitcointalk members think other bitcointalk members are trolling or not.  You are addressing a player on our website and Betcoin at the same time with these comments and the player certainly doesn't speak for Betcoin.

Dooglus, we have close to 1,000 players daily on Betcoin, over 100 tickets and 50-100 live chat customer support tickets daily.  Our parent company and owners overlap with BetCris and the WPN and have been in business over 16 years.  Customer service can always be improved and will continue to be improved, but we are surprised by your use of the word scam.

With that said, we are reviewing your particular ticket in detail still and as stated would have the resolution in full by Monday at the latest.  On another note, the traffic and player volume has increased to its highest point over the last 2 weeks, which we are very happy to report.

" Our parent company and owners overlap with BetCris...".

Could you please elaborate on this.
What is your parent company's name?

How do the owners overlap with BetCris?
BetCris is an established and honorable brand.
But " Our parent company and owners overlap with BetCris..." is a vague statement that could be anything. Or nothing, as I could state I overlap with PinnacleSports.

What do you mean by "overlap"?
If I was in conversation with one of the principals of BetCris, would that person vouch for your company?

Or does this "overlap" only mean you rent offices and internet lines from them, or something similar?

Bump.

Waiting 10 days so far for an answer.

Yes that's too bad.  They were probably forced to decide whether having an argument on the Internet was worth it and from what I see here, it never is.  There were some legitimate questions, but they seem to be addressing them at the site.  Anyways, I am very glad for the introduction to bitcointalk.  I have learned a tremendous amount from many people here.

I respond, respectfully, asking him to explain his statement.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm who does that remind us of?  Also note that his ignoring post is the EXACT same tonally to Betcoin posts where they ignore/deflect and follow it up with a super passive-aggressive "everything is so nice here!" sentence.

I think they realized arguing was pointless right away.  They had no argument.

They thought if they just pretended Twitchyseal didnot exist then he would just go away eventually.

They shouldn't get the same benefit in their reputation as a site that will answers any direct question or at the least provide logical reason for why they can't answer.

Just realized ftwbtc was the guy who tried to tell me Stars doesn't award fpps on tournaments if you enter via satellite.

It's especially pointless to argue on the internet for people who constantly tell lies.

For clarity, players receive VIP points when you use your bitcoin to buy into a satellite tournament based on the fees you pay. You do not receive VIP points on the tournament that you are entered into once you win the seat.

...and, by the way, it is what happens in every FIAT based pokerroom.

So hope noone will complain about it.

Could you please name one other online poker room that has this policy?

Have plenty more to say on this later.

ACR, Stars to name two.  It only makes logical sense considering you are not paying the full fee to get into the tournament that you have satellited into.  I was wondering why Betcoin even posted this because I didn't see anyone ever mention this in the thread and it would seem common sense.  What are your complaints about this twitchyseal?

ftwbtc1 is also shilling for Betcoin in the Betcoinsports thread, e.g.:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=281850.msg12959845;topicseen#msg12959845

He did that in answer to one of my posts as well.
Same m.o. - Betcoin is the greatest, you seem to want to play there since you're posting here, I wuv wuv wuv Betcoinsports, yadda yadda bullsh*t yadda.

But never any interest in trying to solve problems customers have with them.
Instead always glossing over that but instead shill, shill, shill.

ftwbtc1 - "My wagering amounts aren't very much but I have had only great experiences with the customer support and love the community."

Keep your bullshit together ftwbtc1.
Greater concentration is needed. Perhaps take notes.

On June 10th he's made a 10btc bet and wants to be able to bet that amount on more sports.

Then forgets that identity on November 12th and becomes a small bettor.

I think I said this once before as well:

Arguing with someone on the Internet is like playing chess with a pigeon. You may be good at chess, but the pigeon is just going to knock all the pieces down, take a shit on the table, and strut around like its victorious.

So do I waste my time arguing with the people on the Internet?  No thanks.  For the record, I got destroyed at Nitrogen (which is my favorite book) and Betcoin in sports this year and have been relegated to smaller amounts or be homeless.  It's under control though.

Perhaps another and more accurate reason you don't discuss with people on the net is because serial liars are too easily exposed?

Well betcoin came back, still ignoring all the questions theyve offered to answer in this thread - decided to make a new one giving away bitcoin instead.
