About the LPS Millions

The LPS Millions is set to get underway at Majestic Casino in Panama from September 13th through 20th. If a $750+100 buy-in for a $1 Million Guaranteed event seems kind of low, it’s because the LPS Millions is revolutionizing how land-based poker tournaments work.

The LPS Millions features multiple Day 1 events happening all over Latin America—several weeks before the action in Panama begins. Players who make it through Day 1 in their city will earn a seat at the Day 2 table in Panama. Day 1 will also be held in Panama, and players who win a seat online will play Day 1 there.



*All online qualifiers will automatically be registered in day 1A and they MUST play on that day.

While I was just playing in a $12 Turbo the table froze and said something on the top about trying to connect to the server. 

I wasn't actually disconnected from Betcoin though because I was able to open the cashier and a ring game table and watch the action.  It was just the tournament table that was frozen.

I closed the program and restarted and again was able to open ring games but when I tried to open my tournament's lobby it would say "taking you to tournament...", but nothing happened.  I could see it listed in the lobby though and I assume they were still playing because the number of players grew.

I waited and restarted again and after maybe 15 minutes it finally took me back to my seat.

Since everything on the Betcoin only side worked maybe it was something with the connection to WPN?

this happened to me, i was unable to finish my SNG and I was blinded out. I was still able to play my cash table but not the SNG... sux that I lost $$

Hmm, well at least I know it wasn't just me.  Yeah, sucks to have lost money but I guess I should be glad it was only $13 and not late in a big tournament.

Any chance of adding 2 factor authentication? I don't feel comfortable having large amounts of bitcoin on the site without it.

Currently we have a manual form of two factor authentication presently in place.  When you submit a withdrawal request you will receive an email that you must confirm the withdrawal.  Therefore, two factor authentication is in place.  We are working on automating this with a link that will instantly send the btc, however player funds security is extremely important and if we need to delay a withdrawal slightly to confirm it then that is what we will do.

Ticket for "Sunday 1 BTC GTD Satellite - 1 Seat GTD" are not working for me: its status displays "announced" last days but that tourney is always in registration phase (it is a O"On demand" one and start once 7 players are registered).


This way I can't take any action and it is useless.

This tournament will return, however it was running against the big 150 BTC ($100,000) GTD tourney and had no chance of success, therefore it was removed for now.  We stated this earlier in the thread as well.

Transfers over a certain amount must be manually approved and we have yet to have an issue of chip dumps to another player.  Security is of paramount importance at Betcoin.  If someone were to know your password to Betcoin is the only way they could transfer chips and then they would also have to get past our manual review and then know your email password to confirm the transaction.  This environment is highly secure.

My question had nothing to do with transfers.  Take the following example...

- Someone gets a hold of my password and logs into my account
- They play a friend heads up and intentionally lose chips to them.
- The friend then cashes out and goes through your manual approval process.  Nothing would look suspicious.
- By the time I realize my money is gone it is too late to do anything because it has already been withdrawn.

Ok, yes we understand your question.  What websites are there that do  two factor authentication on the login as we would like to look into this?  If someone has your password and your email login they also cannot be stopped from withdrawing as well with two factor authentication.  We want to implement the best security as possible.

look, what he is saying is that once your account gets hacked, ie pw stolen via keylogger, virus, brute force, they can easily dump the chips to another account and than cash out that way.  So best thing to do is get 2FA.
