Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the
subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The
subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Hello all,
I am using Asus R9280x DC2T with sgminer 5 with auto switch kernels and catalyst 14.6RC2 - win7 64bit - 4gb Ram - No hardware errors With 14.6RC2 drivers, clocks cant be changed, it always run with "gpu-engine": "1080" "gpu-memclock": "1600" even if you point it to downgrade. Temps: wont go more than 60C whatever algo i use.
x11 = 4.2mh/s x13 = 2.9mh/s x15 = 3.0mh/s nist5 = 13mh/s neoscrypt = 300kh/s scrypt = 740kh/s

Lol flashing the BIOS is 100% safe. if you f it up just boot from USB stick with another card for main adapter and flash it back. Happened to to me a few times^^ I flash em all the time when ive got a new idea... I'll check what mems my 6x 280x miner has next time I visit it...
amorphia: intensity 18 for neo sounds high. I get highest performance with 13. Interesting using different work sizes. I'll try that^^
jimlite: how much boost can u expect from stilt with neo?

Neoscrypt has ruined profit switching for me as well. Why it is included in profit switching is beyond me. I just found another pool until it levels out.

I'm using catalyst 14.6RC2 and if i use intensity 13 neo hash 145mh/s. if i change drivers x11 and x13 hash rate will drop. i made 2 changes to my .conf file and i get a bit higher hash rate: x11 = 4.486Mh/s from 4.2 using kernel x11mod instead of darkcoin-mod x13 = 3.1 from 2.9 using x13mod kernel instead of marucoin-mod x11 and x13 kernels are from a previous version of sgminer that boosts hashraste, with combination of catalyst 14.6RC2. x11 = 3.1 to 4.2 and x13 = 2.1 to 2.9 { "pools": [ { "name": "TMB x11", "url": "stratum+tcp://am01.eu.trademybit.com:4010", "user": "username.x11", "pass": "x", "nfactor": "10", "intensity": "18", "thread-concurrency": "11200", "worksize": "256", "algorithm": " x11mod" }, { "name": "TMB x13", "url": "stratum+tcp://am01.eu.trademybit.com:4011", "user": "username.x13", "pass": "x", "nfactor": "10", "intensity": "18", "thread-concurrency": "11200", "worksize": "256", "algorithm": " x13mod" },

Is this correct? Neoscript is not on autoswitch? If that is the case I'll try again.

Too bad.

Eh, external solutions to algo-switching on TMB have always been better anyhow, since TMB lets you call its api for profitability and configure things more accurately for your cards. I remember some guy posting about, " Awesome Miner", a while back, which I guess is mining control software for Windows that can handle switching between different algos/pools based on api calls and whatnot (never actually tried it myself). Personally, since TMB's hashrate ratio estimates have always been garbage for Nvidia cards (which I have), I've been running a custom script adapted from a really old and outdated TMB switcher that (now) compares algos/rates between TMB and Nicehash and throws my miners at whatever is best at any given time. Basically what I mean to say is that there are other options for profit-switching on TMB, and that the ability to call the api is one of the big upsides to this service over the other multipools that I've looked at.

Too bad. You may as well stick with X11, it's almost always the most profitable. You can download that Miner Control program and see that Neoscrypt and X11 share for the most time mining on auto switch. Unfortunately for me they usually mine at negative $ due to my .15 kw/h electric cost and bitcoins current low price.

You may as well stick with X11, it's almost always the most profitable. that's true for R9 cards unless mining neoscrypt, nicehash says otherwise for HD 5xxx where it's X13 is like 90% of the time

I just noticed that TMB has top VTC in Scrypt-N but , VTC forked to lyra2re a couple of days ago at block 208301, so if TMB is mining Scrypt-N for VTC, it is mining in the wrong fork! :O

Dang, really liked having this pool as a backup/option =( Fortunately, it looks like YAAMP also offers API access, so I guess it's my new backup pool. Will miss TMB, but at least my tmb.py switching script lives on.
