Who knows, NIST5 power consumption is higher than the X11, x13, x15 ? If it is - how much higher?
Tnx.

Depends on how you count, speed/electricity nist5 has lowest power consumption.

I just noticed that it makes my GPUs hotter so it should require more power than x.. algos.

And Fresh is lower than them all. Except I moved my kill-a-watt to my ASICS so I can't measure it myself right now.

Right now its only Fresh. But it is on Bitrex now so TMB could mine it. But POW might be over soon.

The Multi Multi port 4013 should open today ... does anyone already use it?
Edit: Port is now open Smiley

Multi Multi port 4010 = X11
Multi Multi port 4011 = X13
Multi Multi port 4013 = Nist5

Multi Multi port Huh    = X15
Multi Multi port Huh    = Scrypt
Multi Multi port Huh    = Nscrypt

Are there any Multi Multi ports for X15, Scrypt and Nscrypt?

I've seen a Multi Multi config with 6 ports: 4010, 4011, 7770 now 4013, 3330, 2220, 6660.
Such a config starts mining with Scrypt and not the most profitable coin Huh

Maybe something is very wrong the last part of my config?

Code:
],
"gpu-fan" : "86,90,90",
"failover-only" : true,
"api-allow" : "W:127.0.0.1",

Multi port for X15 is 4012. Scrypt and N-scrypt don't have multi ports, probably because they are not really that profitable right now.

Combining multi ports with normal ports won't mine the most profitable coin unfortunately. I set sgminer 5 to mine only X11/13/15 and Nist5 for now, since they are the most profitable algos these days.

We're presently focused on the newer 'low power' algos with our multi-multi setups. Once we implement a user-defined process that lets users determine which algos they would like to use on the multi-multi instead of being forced into all algo's we add to it, we will add in scrypt and nscrypt.

As you guys have seen, 4013 is now live.. to recap the port list for multi-multi:
4010 - X11
4011 - X13
4012 - X15
4013 - Nist5

I still suggest using 4440 as a final failover for TMB in case the multi-multi ports act up, so you'll at least be mining something.

Thanks!

I've already finished adding in FRESH support into our stratum, however with PoW near complete and no other coins in sight for this algo, I've held off adding a port for it. I'll keep looking for new FRESH coins to add in though Wink

Ok it happened again: "Stratum connection interrupted" and it doesn't reconnect. In the middle of the night grrrrr.

I suspect a dodgy SGminer. I read from previous posts that old versions of cgminer had that bug as well and ckolivas subsequently fixed it. I'll have to take that up with the PiMP guys. Is anyone else experiencing this?

update:
...and again. Noticing that one card has gone dead in the process. Very very weird considering I've been mining on X15 regular port yesterday (and regular X11 and X13 before that on SGMiner v4) without any sort of trouble. Note that I have a regular TMB X11 port pool as failover (but it doesn't matter at all as it simply doesn't reconnect if it fails).

I also can't restart the sgminer when this happens. My only option is to reboot the machine. Very annoying.

This happened to me several times before I just stopped using v5.  I'd rather be mining a less profitable algo than nothing at all.

I have the same problem with TMB using sgminer5 on win8.1 (v.30.06 ) x11/x13/x15 switching. I tried everything and got nothing. So i left TMB and i am mining on NiceHash. The problem solved! I think there is something wrong in TMB servers. I changed  only the pools config  to point them on NH and voila! All is working flawless and even profit is better.

Getting the same thing. For example, on start, I will go to 4011, after awhile, goes to the last single-algo multi port 4440, then it tries to reconnect to a multi-multi port, it will keep saying connection interrupted, and waits 10 secs, says stable and trying to connect again, guess what, connection interrupted, and on and on....

I didn't know there is a multi multi port for X15, so I've added the X15 settings to my multi multi config with port 6660 and SGMiner 5 is switching between X11/13/15 and Nist5! Didn't work with Scrypt and Nscrypt, but already stopped trying after 5 minutes.

Thanks!

Simply by adding the following code to my conf file?

Code:
{
  "name" : "am01 x11 default",
"url" : "stratum+tcp://am01.eu.trademybit.com:4440",
"user" : "worker",
"pass" : "x",
                "intensity" : "12",
                "gpu-powertune" : "10",
"gpu-threads" : "2",
"algorithm" : "darkcoin-mod"
}

Should I also add for every algo the second server am02.eu.trademybit.com like this?

Code:
{
  "name" : "am01 x11 multi multi",
"url" : "stratum+tcp://am01.eu.trademybit.com:4010",
"user" : "worker",
"pass" : "x",
                "intensity" : "12",
                "gpu-powertune" : "10",
"gpu-threads" : "2",
"algorithm" : "darkcoin-mod"
},
{
  "name" : "am02 x11 multi multi",
"url" : "stratum+tcp://am02.eu.trademybit.com:4010",
"user" : "worker",
"pass" : "x",
                "intensity" : "12",
                "gpu-powertune" : "10",
"gpu-threads" : "2",
"algorithm" : "darkcoin-mod"
}

i just noticed my gpus are hotter also. for nist5, I expected them to be cooler than x11. Can't wait for more FRESH coins an low heat coins to become the highest profitable coins.
?
I'm using modded sgminers for my x11,x13,x15,nist5. This new (SGMiner5 Multi-Multi port 4013), will it compare with the speeds of my modded sgminer? I switched to modded versions and i was very impressed with the hash increases. If im going to take a hit in hash moving to sgminer5 i might just keep to manual.

SGMiner 'Modded' versions are usually nothing more than standard sgminer compiled under 14.6 Beta (rev 1) Drivers. With some small .cl kernel changes to allow for the 14.6 Beta driver.

So yes SGMiner v5 will offer the same hash increase (if not more) if you use the correct drivers (or at least .bin files built with 14.6 Beta drivers)

On a 280X i get: (using SGMiner v5 -4.2.2-)
4.4MH/s X11
3.3MH/s X13
2.8MH/s X15
13.6MH/s Nist5

All run cool at avg 67.C max 70.C

It amazes me how many people have no idea what they are doing, and just look for other peoples mining compiles/software.
Do a little work, and you can do it yourself. Plus it is a LOT less risky, than downloading miners that are probably doing hidden mining.
I know i am falling on deaf ears, as nearly all you 'miners' are point-and-click warriors, and have no fundamental knowledge on what you are doing. If it wasn't so sad i would laugh.  Sad

My Geforce 660ti (ccminer 1.2)
2.5MH/s X11
2.0MH/s X13
1.8MH/s X15
7.2MH/s Nist5

Nothing is impossible, but if you rely on everyone else to do it for you, you will have no advantage anyway. (as everyone else does the same)

I don't suspect foul playwith my "Sgminer Modded" because my hash shown in sgminer correlates with the hash shown on TMB's. I'm going to look into sgminer5 and try and set it up myself. If i can get good hash and never have to switch algos it's going to be magical.

Update..

I got Sgminer5 setup and it really works well so far. Once i found a preconfigured .conf it was easy to understand.

I'm using AMD catalyst 13.12 and have not needed to update for it to work.

You're right! But how?

I can compile the SPH-SGMiner, but no chance with SGMiner 5. This is my current NOT working howto:

copy ADL 6 files to /sgminer-5_0/ADL*
cd sgminer-5_0
git clone https://github.com/sgminer-dev/sgminer
git init
git submodule init
git submodule update
libtoolize
autoreconf -ivf
CFLAGS="-O2 -Wall -march=native" ./configure
sudo make

After "make" a get the same error: https://github.com/sgminer-dev/sgminer/issues/339

Realy don't understand the "git thing". Don't need that for compiling SPH-SGMiner, which works fine:

cp ADL_SDK_6.0/include/* sph-sgminer_x11mod/ADL_SDK
cd sph-sgminer_x11mod
./autogen.sh
CFLAGS="-O2 -Wall -march=native" ./configure
sudo make install

It amazes me how many people have no idea what they are doing, and just look for other peoples mining compiles/software.

Do you have any sources where a beginner could start with and get some fundamental knowledge?

If you are fan, you still can get it cheap, it's growing. I bought today pretty big bunch of them for under 1250.

I saw the coin, but figured no exchange would pick it up due to naming/etc.. it was also before the exchanges started their coin-add frenzy ;/
