Are ports 4010 and 4011 still in use? How does SGminer v5 do auto profit switching between x11 and x13 or any other algo, or is that still needs to be done manually between algos?

Are ports 4010 and 4011 still in use? How does SGminer v5 do auto profit switching between x11 and x13 or any other algo, or is that still needs to be done manually between algos?

Tmb does it automatically if u use the ports..1 is dead and the other will be alive so sgminer switch to the alive pool.

I modified all settings to be mostly like yours and miner is not getting any work from pool. I'll just modify the failover-switch-delay to 10 only.

L.E.: I got work but miner first waited 5-6 minutes and said my ports are wrong. I'll keep settings like yours and see if all goes well, if not I'll just modify the failover.

How does ur pool config look like? Which cards are u using? Drivers?

Here's my config file:

I have 2 X Sapphire Radeon R9 280X Dual-X using Catalyst 13.12. Should I use 14.4?

I left miner on over night and worked fine with your settings, it just gave me pool port errors and waited 6 minutes first time I started miner with your settings.

I probably need to put specific settings per algo pool as well, but don't really know what to put there.

i think there's something wonky with the X13 pool.

it doesn't stay alive long enough to get any work done on it.

x13 has been more profitable for the last hour or two and i've not been able to connec tto it for longer than a second or two.

Try to deleted the global "algorithim" and change the kernelpath like I did, to your directory offcourse.
U can try 14.4.

no problem here, just switching fine and hash x13 long enough.

U can try 14.4.

I deleted global algo entry and added correct kernel path but miner warned me there's a JSON error - can't find valid pool so I deleted the kernel path entry and all works OK now, no 6 mins delay upon miner restart anymore. Also installed catalyst 14.4 but don't see any hashrate improvements yet and need to leave miner run longer to determine stability. Thanks for tips, I appreciate the help Smiley

Hello lads

I'm mostly running x11 and x13 as many of you probably.
Although I'm having a many stale shares.

What config do u use?

Try to deleted the global "algorithim" and change the kernelpath like I did, to your directory offcourse.
U can try 14.4.

No problem sir.
Tips? Thanks Grin

Hello lads

I'm mostly running x11 and x13 as many of you probably.
Although I'm having a many stale shares.

Code:

As you can see above, for now 36 stales.
This is happening since 10th of June.

Same stratum, same network at work, same hardware and same config.

Any ideas guys?

queue 1, scantime 7, expiry 10

Thank you

I'm using the same and don't have stales but using the am02 stratum

What config do u use?

Hello

I see you run a higher version of SGminer + x11/x13mod. Can you post (pm) a downloadlink or place a link to the forumthread?
My config (batfile) goes as following.

Code:
del *.bin
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
sgminer_x11x13mod_03_06_2014\sgminer.exe -k x11mod -o stratum+tcp://am01.eu.trademybit.com:4440 -u xxx -p xxx -I 18 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 8192 --lookup-gap 2 -g 2 --gpu-engine 1150 --gpu-memclock 1500 --auto-fan --gpu-fan 55-85 --temp-cutoff 80 --temp-overheat 76 --temp-target 73 --no-submit-stale

I can't see any issues in that configuration though.

Best regards,

I'm using sgminer_v5 for multi-algo switching
see dl https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=632503.msg7226879#msg7226879

I also don't see any rare settings, did u try lookup-gap 0? or put the shaders in it?

Merc, can u update the start page with the multi-algo ports?
https://pool.trademybit.com/start
Can you give an example of your Multi-Algo SGMiner v5 pool config file?

Do notifications for idle workers work for anyone? Or is it just broken for me?

yes it can, u could the search the other topic..I don't use it because of the higher wattage and with tmb there isn't a setting for yet. (No Scrypt and scrypt-n multi algo port)

Just thought I should contribute to this thread here.

Here is my config for Trademybit multi algo x11/x13

I was getting 2-3 min delays between algo switches but the problem was resolved by making the port that closes the FIRST pool in the list, and leaving the port that is ALWAYS OPEN as the second one.

The logic here (this will probably be addressed in later releases but for the time being its smooth): First pool opens and closes. If x11 is more profitable, x13 shuts, insta fail-over to x11, when x13 is more profitable, pool port opens up, since its first pool, it will go back to it from x11.

For what ever reason the miner didn't like the fact that both could be closed or overlap... no idea why... but it works now.

This is using Catalyst 14.4

sgminer.conf  =

This is for my 290 @ stock clocks using this build:
https://mega.co.nz/#!Ld5QASiI!cS1ETIXI_-jdvx6ZW93rD-IYY91zcWG4B24ZbYs2Ik8
x11 = 4Mhs
x13 = 3Mhs
http://pastebin.com/eNbaahbY

Heres one for my 5x 280x Rig using the same build in the megalink:
x11 = 3.1-3.2
x13 = 2.2-2.4 (Cards are beat to shit from scrypt mining their hashes swing up and down)
http://pastebin.com/FpvMKVBc

Credit goes to Pelk for the pool list configuration at #pool from Trademybit IRC.

Hope this will help.

Just woke up and checked my miner, looks like it stopped receiving work 1H 50 minutes ago and idled til now. Anything happened at that moment to the X11 or X13 pools? Was mining on the X11 and it didn't switch to X13, it just stopped receivinng work and idled.
