We've done quite a bit of spec mining over the last few weeks, and it usually turns out well

Seems like the profit per day is pretty low (x11) side lately. Mining at 12.18MH/s only .9% reject. Not sure how low it is because I don't see any MH/BTC/Day on the site at all.

merc82,
you haven't heard from me in a minute, but I'm usually your weather vane.
x15 storm is coming, 1 coin out right now, 1 dropping in 3 hours.
Can you throw us up an x15 stratum, and a x15 multiport?
It could be a real fun weekend for us blue-collar miners...
I'm right there with ya Working on the stratum modifications needed today -- I dont have an exact ETA, but its in progress Good deal. Yep GPU miner available already. Last night difficulty went from 5 to currently 144. BBL is added, "multiport" for x15 is 6660. I'll get the web interface/etc updated over the next day or so. SWEET! merc82, can you integrate also for a multi-algo profit-switch port, such as port 4012 for x15 like you have 4011 for x13 and 4010 for x11? That way it can flip successfully between all of them, in case x13 or x11 is taking the reigns? Absolutely on my list .. likely will be tomorrow evening, once the GPU miners settle in on X15 a bit. I just added Firecoin, its relatively low-diff now, might be worth mining the direct port if you got your x15 miner tuned Port 4012 available yet?

Same here. I bet merc82 is waiting for the market to get a little better before exchange the coins

There is no single best one, about five or so exist right now. Find one that will let you run bitblock.cl and won't fuck up your rig.

I am using: sgminer-5.0-pre-release-2014-06-25-win32 I know there is probably a better one but since that worked well, i didn't change it, however it has several things wrong, nothing deadly but for instance: accepted and rejected global counter shows crap, and if you switch between this one and the other I use (sgminer 4.1 for X11 and X13) a couple of times, some card stop working and have to reboot. sorry I don't have a link, I cannot remember from where I get it, I spend 6 hours yesterday modifying my miners for X15 and I don't remember from when I get what EDIT: I think that it was the pre-release from here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=632503.0

You are correct, these bins were made for bitblock, maybe he renamed it. .bins for x11 and x13 below; 14.6 x11 (g2, w256, tc8192) .bin gives +4.4mh/s -> download x11modTahitiglg2tc8192w256l4 https://app.box.com/s/v5ir2hrq8vqgxbp6dq5r--> x11mod kernel -I 18 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 8192 --lookup-gap 2 -g 2 --gpu-engine 1150 --gpu-memclock 1500 --auto-fan --no-submit-stale --no-pool-disable 14.6 x13 (g2, w256, tc8192) .bin gives +3.1mh/s -> download x13modTahitiglg2tc8192w256l4 https://app.box.com/s/5n4ahregutorpi7oce8w--> x13mod kernel -I 18 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 8192 --lookup-gap 2 -g 2 --gpu-engine 1180 --gpu-memclock 1500 --auto-fan --no-submit-stale --no-pool-disable Miner can be downloaded from https://app.box.com/s/zj565j1q1xbwordi10cc (Source: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=658975.0 ) Enjoy.

I downloaded the 14.6 miner and those bin files. I imported my config file I posted here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=386554.msg7337607#msg7337607I changed the kernel names, put those bins in the miner folder, but first time when I started miner it gave me only HW errors. Tried again and it just idled. Tried some more and HW errors again. What am I missing here? I'm using 14.4 catalyst, but induktor said this works on 14.4 as well. I also have 2 X Sapphire R9 280X Dua-X.

U can't rename the binfiles from darkcoin to marucoin or x11 to x13.

I did not change names of bins, I changed names of kernels in config file (x11mod and X13 mod as I had marucoin and darkcoin). Where do I put that hamsi string in my config? I tried to add "hamsi-expand-big" : "4" under each pool or in the general settings and miner still gives HW errors or nonce errors.

Leave out the hamsi string unless you are going to mine x15 algo. Your config was made for sgminer v5 algoswitcher. I'm not sure, but I think the included kernels only perform a few percent less compared to the non-algo-switching miner.
You should look upon Bullus' posts.
