It's dead...no one wants to do anything with it except trade up to BTC.  If someone builds a market and sells goods for moon then you'll see a come back, but as long as people are just mining to dump for BTC then bye bye Moon.

People buy stuff with BTC because others sell stuff for BTC.  Just about all the alt coins coming out are purely for trade up because no one is building a marketplace for them.

Unfortunately I joined this boat within a couple of hours of seeing moon in Cryptsy Sad  I made a fatal assumption of seeing similarities with DOGE so invested 1 btc and when the price rose by another satoshi, I went all in.  Oh dear! We live and learn eh!?  In some way's I'm glad I didn't have tens or hundreds of btc because I would've probably lost more than the last 6 months of mining it cost me!  Undecided

Note to self! - Check the forums before chucking a load of money at a coin ffs! lol

This is exactly what I see and say to my friends too, which is why I know it's a pretty safe bet my money's all gone.. gone!  Cry  lol ...balls!

Keep calm.
The coin is dead if you make it so. So why are you telling your friends the coin is dead? I don't get that.
The biggest problem at the moment is multipool. It keeps a horde of anonymous miners mining that coin and immediately dumping it at cryptsy and co. afterwards.

So there is not even a chance to climb up slowly at the moment, if even the community (which is made of people - like YOU) is talking the coin down again and again. If you don't believe in the coin you should simply sell it and call it a day.

You could just look here:
http://www.reddit.com/r/MoonCoin/comments/1z71n3/anyone_want_to_sell_me_something_for_600k_moon/

... and could do the same, if you want to have a market. Nothing prevents you from using MOON to buy something, but yourself.

MOON will probably stay around here (would not be surprised to see 1 satoshi) for awhile.  Think about it, for the "longest time" there have been almost no new MOON being created until the KGW went into effect.  With a new influx of coins, the price was bound to go down.  The market maker is doing a pretty good job buying up the coins that miners are dumping, and I expect this to go on until the market realizes MOON is not dead and confidence is restored.  Essentially as long as the community and dev remain involved, Mooncoin will inevitably rise again.

Not holding any MOON right now but i feel like with the right marketing you guys may be able to gain back some of those losses

Ill dedicate some brain power to the task, if anybody would like to help brainstorm please email me at originalgambit@gmail.com

A coin is nothing without a marketing plan, ask DOGE

Speaking of 2DaMoon, did you see this:

deaconboogie explains how to create a vanity-wallet-address that starts with "2DaMoon".
Cool thing.

WARNING :

Before any sell or buy

LOOK at moon/ltc prices first to optimize gain.

~44 LTC = 1 BTC nowadays. You can find more accurate ratio from exchange sites.

So before selling to example 2 stoshi go look

moon/ltc prices around 0.00000088 ?

welll....down too 3 with very little depth on the buy side..ouch.

Yes, down to 3. But show me any other coin with 100(!) Bitcoins of buy orders to begin with. Even for the more established coins this is an incredible amount, particularly when the coin is supposed to be "dead".

I probably wouldn't get your hopes up in the short term.  All I see on Cryptsy is the market maker buying what miners are dumping at 2 satoshi, and then selling at 3 to the odd buyer.
