DirectBet- I'm not trying to pick on you here, but a lot of your rules are wrong unless you want to be unique. At a quick first glance of American sports, get rid of the 3 day rules with many sports. Your baseball rules are wrong if you want to go by Vegas and Offshore rules with postponed games. Why are you refusing to change listed pitcher? The pitcher can change between the time the ML is listed and the time the bet is placed. The player must know the listed pitchers on his bet slip. You can't tell him after the game goes final.

You're new to this but when you get more than 30 players in your book, players make baseball bets when they see pitching changes. They try to beat the book to the change with action bets when lines are fixed at their book. Some books do it that way. If you ever expand, a high percentage of your bets will be at this time since it reads action on one side, fixed odds with firm bets. It's critical for you to post the pitchers if both are listed. Players want to know if they have a bet before it goes final.

Here's a real life example in the LAD/LAA game. Greinke is -123/+113 over Richards. The screen goes black on the Don Best screen. Greinke is scratched. You still have ML Greinke/Richards. A player orders LAA +113 Richards, the other pitcher no longer shows up on your system. The Don Best screen starts putting up new numbers to a new pitcher for LAD.

The player jumps through hoops at DirectBet getting the bitcoin address , copy/pasting it to his wallet, sending it to DirectBet and waiting for confirmation. Finally it comes back LAA +113 Richards Accepted. The pitcher for the Dodgers isn't listed. The player may even get +116 Richards since your system allows better odds. Now the player is really in the dark.

Who does the player have on the other side. Grienke or the new pitcher? Your rules say both pitchers must be listed. How does he know which one he has since it's not on the slip? Does he take your word after it goes final?

There may not even be a line change with the new pitcher but the player still needs to know if he has a bet.

After losing the first quarter 25:4 

I´ve never seen a basketball game like this before.

Although our rule was clearly stated and followed, we understand your concern and therefore per your suggestion we are now displaying both starting pitchers in the bet slip.

In regards to one of our clients who was confused about the rule, we did end up paying him off the other day as if he had won the bet.

We are not aware of any other client that was confused by this in the past.

Are you a two man shop? One guy with common sense and the other just throws out false accusations? The other suggestions are look at your rules again to clean up the mistakes and only have the guy with common sense post. GL

Lines still have a long ways to go. Det/NYY RL right now prior to the first pitch -370/162. It's by far the worst odds of any sports book and you have the least amount of betting options. You should look at other books and the offers that they are making instead of cloning limited lines and adding lots of juice.

edit- Just saw that Cin/Cle RL is -476/+245. This is before the game starts. There should be a law against this type of hold.

Yikes. SF/Mets the live betting total over -666/+215 under. With the lines that you are putting out the NVL is- 273 and you have -666. Guess the theoretical hold on that line?

I second the idea of live spread betting for MLB.  In the US, MLB is the only major sport going on right now.  I know a lot of "live" betting sites have live spread betting and I know Directbet wants to be considered a "live" betting site so I'd definitely use those if they were available.

I was just getting on Anonibet to add live MLB too so we'll see who acts first.

A game being postponed has nothing to do with ML wagers as long as it goes 5 innings, 4.5 if the home team is ahead. It only pertains to the total and run line. Games are settled that day for wagering purposes. They aren't prolonged 3 days. The rules in playoff MLB differ book to book, but not the regular season.

I understand that some of the problems with bets being held aren't your fault most of the time even if unfair to the player, but there are many mistakes in the rules that you may want to change.

If a match starts but is later abandoned or postponed and an official result is not declared within three days of the scheduled start date, all bets will be void, except for those which have been unconditionally determined.
