I still think, this could be legit. I mean 0.8% per day because of arbitrage trading is not impossible. But on the other hand maybe they use realistic values to let everyone think it is legit.....

I wonder how this goes on!!

Since they are going for the extra realistic look, it is also a benefit to them as well since they pocket more without having to pay out higher interest rates that are more common in HYIP's.

Words of wisdom from a Sr. Member who is too stupid to realize he is playing a Ponzi. See how much any of this means jack shit? And I don't steer people into ponzi games without them knowing the risks involved in playing a ponzi. A whole lot different than being one of bitcoin-traders sheep.

STAY AWAY: rockwell,btc-arbs,bitcoin-trader - I've been playing HYIP's and have a near flawless record over the last year. Made over 1000% return last year. Play HYIP's safely and smart! Stay away from the referral whores on this forum, especially from those putting out their referral links in their signatures. They have no other interest but to profit from you.

I will let people on this thread know if I get ripped off; but frankly, if I lose my investment, it probably means that the site has disappeared, and therefore my posting here will be a moot point. I have over $1,000 invested with bitcoin-trader. I just hope when the music stops that I will have a chair. If not, Nelson Muntz is standing by, waiting for his moment.

My 4 shares in the Trading Pool come due July 21, 2014.

I'll post my results...but I doubt it'll matter; claims of me lying/ will likely be tossed if it [Bitcoin-Trader] does pay me.

Oh well, invest only what you would otherwise feel comfortable burning (literally).

Are they actually sending anyone to this conference though? Did they send any to other events?

For the one in Amsterdam they had just hired some woman to represent them.

Makes sense, I assumed they wouldn't want to show their face.

Cashout of $100= 0.17724647btc. completed 2 hours ago.

The $20 usd of my expired share apperared on the ledger. i put it back in. total % received and cashed out previously, 87%

Quoted so that you can be sued to pay this money back when the SEC prosecutes everyone involved as they did in the Maddoff case.  Not to mention the IRS or your local tax authority.

So basically you need to pay taxes on your gains now.  And in the future, the SEC (or other authority) might prosecute the ponzi and you and request that you return all of your false gains.

Sorry, i do not belong to your jurisdiction. i do not live in the US nor have any ties to the US legal system.
As for US citizens. Yes they better watch out and never say or type a word. Everything will be used against them.

Hi please explain what do you mean return false gains?

1) we do not know that or if it is a ponzi, just investing
2) someone who takes your "false claims" should be in a position to refund you any lost money as well, it works both ways.

please clarify?

I'm in it with a good amount  as well, nothing that hurts too much if lost.
Still anxious whether it will pay off.
If there's any problem with the pay out I'll post it here.

I bet yonce is just angry as we're not investing in one of his HYIP's, as he mentioned them several times before.

A couple of posts way earlier in the forum mentioned profits above what they invested (over 100%). I'm now exactly mid way through my 120 day period and I don't see how I'm going to make back more than what I invested. It's a great return but not over 100%. I originally invested $40.00 and at the mid way point I have made 15.11, which will leave me slightly over a $30.00 profit by the end of the 120 day period or about a 75% ROI.

1. If you can get past your wishful thinking it's really not hard to figure out what it must be.
2. Like they did in the Madoff case?

I believe the minimum sustained Profit per day is ~1.75% for the entire 120 days to earn an immediate profit (101% or more). Under that amount you'll have a deferred profit; profit when you get the initial capital back through the Share Repurchasing that occurs at the end of the 120 days contract.

Under a 1% profit per day, my first block of 4 Trade Pool shares ($80) will earn ~$70 at the end of the 120 days. If they repurchase at 100% of the purchase price then that $70 will have the initial $80 added to it, for $150.

Receiving the initial investment - at least concerning the trading shares - your net profit would be 70-80% of the initial investment. Eventhough it's maybe not what they promised, it's still so unbelievable high many here think it's a ponzie.

Possibly, I would recommend only investing -in any venture- what you're comfortable literally burning.

However, earning ~$20 a month on a $100 investment (math below for those who want it) isn't completely unheard of and happens in the Stock Market.
...time will tell who is/was right.

---
Math:
1% of 100 = $1/day

Trading time is Monday through Friday; 5 days a week.

Average weeks in a month; 4 weeks

5 * 4 = 20 * $1 = $20/mo * ~4 months = $80/120days

It *never* happens in an open ended investment opportunity with a fairly predictable daily "profit" like this. The shares of any business that earns this much money sky rockets immediately, and the opportunity for other investors to get the same profit disappears.

Can you say "missing the point!"? It wasn't a lesson on calculations! It was merely a rebuttal for those posts I read earlier in this thread that were stating they were walking away with nearly double their original invested amount.  I'm certainly not complaining about the ROI in my case, but it isn't going to be double the invested amount.
