You mean THATIS, right? An asset name cannot have a space. Still pretty impressive:
About 1,930,000,000 results (0.46 seconds)

More changes to find word if can have space in search results Smiley And anyway if you want register asset for "red dog" you have only option to register REDDOG.

I see your point but respectfully disagree. "red dog" is not equal to "reddog".
Anyhows, lets hear what the community thinks.

In either case...

Today I registered ISTHE / "IS THE" (with space)
About 22,840,000,000 results (0.54 seconds)

and THISIS / "THISIS" (without space)
About 4,160,000,000 results (0.51 seconds)

Good luck beating these whether space is allowed or not.

P.S. I see from original post that you can modify rules until 6.12.2015 so better settle this by then.

Hey. Everytime when i log in in my wallet (through official Counterparty server), i'm getting this message:

Code:
failoverAPI: Call failed (failed over across all servers). Method: get_chain_txns_status; Last error: JSON-RPC Error:
Type: Server error

Code: -32000

Message: Got back error from server: {u'message': u'Server error', u'code': -32000, u'data': {u'message': u"{'code': -5, 'message': 'No information available about transaction'} (txhash:: 9fef46cf380e1ad46c2564fec764652149347887f76d46ea5f26d908f41d3e5a)", u'args': [u"{'code': -5, 'message': 'No information available about transaction'} (txhash:: 9fef46cf380e1ad46c2564fec764652149347887f76d46ea5f26d908f41d3e5a)"], u'type': u'BackendRPCError'}}

What does it mean? It shows me only in Google Chrome, in Waterfox - not.

Good to see some investment into the ecosystem with DevParty.

Does anyone have a good grasp as to where the XCP technology is versus other alternatives to expanding Bitcoin's functionality? There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of new projects being built and I am wondering why. Is the Ethereum smart contracts wait holding up progress?

Nothing is moving forward. The team is too busy making money with other projects.

This looks like a cool project that could potentially work on counterparty.

https://www.reddit.com/r/cypherpoker/comments/3ytanx/cypherpoker_2016/

Also little interview with Symbionts Mark Smith. Here

https://vimeo.com/151649176

Seems some users have lost faith in open source side of project but watching this gives me extra hope that this is one of the few competent crypto projects in this space, (active for over 2 years, that's not to be sniffed at) still the most active 2.0 platform, still the only Bitcoin based smart contracting platform and still a project with a tangible value proposition. All of the team are proficient, moving in professional circles and targeting professional markets, not anonymous and in a early mover position to be well funded on Symbiont side of things in relative stealth mode with their disruptive tech. Whether or not that translates to continuing traction on the open source side remains to be seen but iMO it worked for red hat Linux et al and there is no other project like it in altcoin space other than Bitcoin itself with simultaneous chance of vertical integration so I'm happy to be a part of it.

Also looking forwards to the results of the coding competition!

Hi guys, just wanted to update you all on current progress.

The next version of counterparty-lib (9.53.0) will soon be released (https://github.com/CounterpartyXCP/counterparty-lib/pull/832) -- it includes plenty of performance enhancements and bug fixes, and will be a recommended upgrade for everyone running the software. After this, we will release Counterwallet 1.7 (https://github.com/CounterpartyXCP/counterwallet/tree/develop), as well as a new version of counterblock.

After that, Ruben De Vyres has developed out P2SH multisig support for the reference client, which we'll need to review and test further (https://github.com/CounterpartyXCP/counterparty-lib/pull/818). This will allow counterparty to utilize "multisig addresses" (i.e. pay to script hash) in addition to the "bare multisig" support in the product today.

We also have a few competing proposals under development to add "subassets" to Counterparty, such as being able to create assets like CAKE.chocolate, or "SOG.Emerald card". We're still roughing up the details there, and folks are welcome to comment on the #spec-proposals channel of our Counterparty slack (http://slack.counterparty.io)

The DevParty development contest is nearing its final stretch. We have a good number of entrants and we're excited about the applications that will come out of it.

Thanks for your invovement. If you'd like to chat or learn more, please join our slack (http://slack.counterparty.io)

Is counterwallet going to support segwit?

Yes, we are planning to support segwit in counterwallet. I think btcdrak put it best: "Well it probably wont be much work at all, since most of it will be taken care of in Bitcore which Counterwallet uses.  I think @rubensayshi plans to work on Bitcore support. It's definitely in Counterpary's best interests to support segwit because you'll have cheaper transaction fees."
