Thank you for the reply's !
When i use the scrypt version ( green ) it now says : could not use server, exciting !
But with the Guiminer orange version ( so to say ) it seems to be working fine...
I am wondering what the everage share must be with a display hashrate of almost 5 Mhash/s.
Is it normal to have 18 shares in almost 4 hours ?

like i said the orange version is only for SHA 256, Coinye uses scrypt, you only get rejects when you keep using that and a chance that the pool bans you. so you have to use Guiminer-scrypt or cgminer 3.7.2 or lower. And with the right setup for your card you should get much higher shares/h. which pool are you going to mine for coinye?

If you otherwise want to try cgminer 3.7.2, you find the correct one here.

http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/3.7/

its the 3.7.2-windows.zip one you want.

OK, i skipped the ornage version and started up ( again ) the one you said ( green )
The thing is, it keeps saying "connecting " but just doesn't.....
I am using east1.us.stratum.dedicatedpool.com ( or west1 if so )
Guiminer seems to NOT recognize my AMD Radeon, it only gives the option of juniper 0-0, it does recognize my CPU ( I7 core8 ), but i have set on juniper.
I run the latest AMD drivers and do have Open CL. So i just don't get it what is going wrong
On summery it says Listener for "default "started, but is already does so for more than one hour....

Thanks !!

Try a lower thread concurrency, and connect again. In my case there is no connection at a to high level. Later on try to higher it in steps.

did you also put in the correct port, for dedicated coinye pool this is 3356.
Also I,m not experienced with Guiminer but I noticed that it uses cgminer 3.1.0 as backend, I don't know if it works with Amd's latest drivers and your gpu. I used 3.01 before and when I updated my drivers to one of the latest it didn't work anymore. Also you could download the Amd SDK 2.9 to be sure that opencl works.

WOW JUST WOW! Mined for 12 hours at coye.minersbest.com.. waiting for the confirmations... now 11 hours later.. not only did they not confirm (all were valid) but they didn't even credit me with it! Everything I mined has just disappeared! Account shows 0 .. bunch of thieves!

If you're mining here I suggest you cash out and move to a more reliable pool.

OMG! All my posts have been COYE related....

I was just asking a question about 42. I hadn't heard of it until today.

Calm down, cap'n.

Guys calm down. He's new, probably signed up specifically for coinye. He just asked a misplaced question, didn't know any better. What about the people that are talking about DOGE or talking trash about COYE are you going to report them to? Being hostile (specially to newbies) won't help the coin at all. People will just frown upon it
