What happened this weekend?
Value went from nice 0004 to 0009 and i haven't bought more yet xD
http://www.bitcoinbeltway.com/ happened jasin was there promoting cache In all fairness, that's not exactly how it went down. Jasin made a statement in the XC thread about certain features of both coins. About 10 minutes after that statement the price of CACH exploded. I know this because I was trying to buy about 500 CACH at around .00045 a short time after the XC thread went mad about the statement. It was much more about Jasin's posts in the XC thread and not really about the conference. Anyone can disagree all they want but I was at my computer screen while it all unfolded. I ended up only picking up 345 coins at a cheap price. Link to the statement?

We are closing a deal with another dev we are working to join our team who has already completed decentralized storage. This was the last piece of the puzzle, cache now has everything we will need to achieve all the goals of cache. The clean rewrite and features are all lined up now, just a matter of finishing the code now.
Since cache is an old (relative to other coins) coin and doesn't have that much attention, maybe you should consider re-branding the coin on bitcointalk. Update the OP by introducing the team and updating the developments. I know I'm new here but most people don't know anything about cache. The coin needs some attention or it doesn't matter how great the technical developments are. Might be a good idea after the rewrite. To introduce something completely new. Not a fork like all the rest of the coins Could I ask what you mean here? If you introduce something completely new, what does that mean for the future of Cachecoin and current holders? Cheers

It means after 5 years someone will have finally gone through the pain of fixing the mess of code that is the satoshi client. And it will enable the addition of easier feature creation. All of which has been desperately needed for years.

Just for clarity though, does "something completely new" mean a new coin, and Cachecoin (and thus our holdings) become deprecated I guess was my question. P.S. just noticed your tag (Its as easy as 0, 1, 1, 2, 3) that's an awesome nod to Fib

So basically rewrite the client from scratch, but keep the coin/network protocol compatible, right?

Anyone have any further features they would like seen added? We do have a large amount lined up, but never know we may have missed one..
A profit-switching multipool that pays in cach would be wonderful

A profit-switching multipool that pays in cach would be wonderful Crazyhash.com is a profitswitching multipool that will launch its beta in about two weeks. It was developed to support XC as there is no MP with decent payouts avaiable. Following the collaboration XC/CACH, we have decided to add CACH as payout option. You can now chose between BTC/LTC/XC/CACH/DRK/BC. Hope to see u on board when the beta starts.
