Its not dead...its been out less than a month (although that is a long time for the crypto world). Although it is sad looking at price...one is foolish to think any coin is dead with a community like this and the exchanges that are willing to list it..I am neutral on this coin. I only hold 2000 SMC for fun. But seriously..those thinking that a coin is dead just because of price drops like this should just quit the crypto world.

Cant expect every coin to be the next NXT, Mastercoin, Bitcoin, (insert very successful coin here).

What is this obsession with getting on Allcrypt exchange when SMC are on other exchanges? The more exchanges you have the more instability you get with prices and the more everyone spreads themselves around too many exchanges, thus the market price would be harder to establish. It's becoming a joke and affects the price.

Allcrypt has not been developed or opened yet. It is asking for 'bribes' in BTC. Please for god sakes, don't waste any BTC on it. Anyone can set up a page and pretend they are developing an exchange and come up with a voting system and bribes. When one see their coins lower down and not accepted, the temptation to bribe goes higher. Once they have enough BTC, say 50 BTC, they will run off with it. It is similar to an IPO scam.

The risk is too high.

you guys keep preaching it'll be back from the dead (Yes it's dead) yet the price keeps sinking. so either you know something that I don't in which this case I just think the devs + a few insiders are trying to slowly offload their holdings to bag holders (ie general public who buys into this crap they're feeding: see above)

anyway these are just my sentiments. I'd be happy to make a huge loss and sell off my 18200 smcs or so for 2-2.5 btc. Any takers?

Why are you grouping me together with those people? I never said it was going to be great did I? I said top 15-top 20. Because it is a 3 weeks coin. However, you assumed that because it is ALREADY a 3 weeks old coin, the coin is dead because the community is stale. If the community is stale, please explain why there are 9 exchanges, I think there is a forum and other various things (reddit, etc.) Again, I am not part of the community so I do not know. By your logic, Bitcoin was a dead coin when it first came out, so was Litecoin, so was Peercoin, Namecoin, etc. Actually Namecoin, Quark, and other top 10 coins are kind of dead right now don't you think by your logic since not many posts about it lately? You are treating every single coin that are 3 weeks old with no steady/exponential rise or stableness to it a dead coin. If you want stable, go fiat. If you want to make a great ROI go invest in the next NXT. Smartcoin, in my opinion, will never be great. Again, I believe it will be top 20 at best. I don't know. Smartcoin is a coin I believe will give me decent returns base on the fact that the dev. has been delivering what he promised. So far, he was walk the walk. Base on that fact and nothing else. If they are facts, they don't need to be restated. Unless you want to build up your postcount, which constitutes as spam.

You may continue stating facts if they actually have any relation to SMC and if you're able to make any coherent argument, which you haven't been able to.

It seems like you're still trying to build up your stash of coins. You promised to dump your coins, but you haven't yet. Why's that? Too scared to sell for a loss? If this is the only the beginning of the low, why are you still holding? Cash out now before it's too late.

Unfortunately, people of BitcoinTalk, this is how people acquire coins and make more and more money. They scare you into selling so that they may buy up cheap coins, awaiting for a high enough price to get rich.

This means that metstijl is being deceptive and doesn't have any real argument for why this coin is dead. The price does not dictate whether a coin is dead, neither a market cap or an exchange.

Give up with your scare tactics. metstijl. Sell what you have and get it over with, you're only causing yourself pain. You are having delusions of grandeur thinking that you could control everyone, well you can't. Give up, sell at a loss.
