put this in the coin and also and the same blacj around inner and outer circle. will look really cool!

I would prefer the logo as is, it looks very simple and elegant, which I think is suiting for NobleCoin, a little more blacke would probably work though. But as far as logos that doesn't display a coin, such as the "NobleCoins accepted here" I think it will be great, it stands out really well, and there is no questioning that the two are related. But combining the two will just be a little too much imo.

Something like this (page 55 post by Rofo)
https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.noblemovement.com%2Fimages%2Fnoble_small.png&t=536&c=JGPDxfGzgS81fw

I believe we need a more simple version, with only the outlines and the yellow color... however im not good anough at photoshop to fix that and also don't know if development wants it;I think it would be an addition Wink

The Noble Movement is a great idea.

However, I have some marketing suggestions regarding the Noble Movement site http://www.noblemovement.com/ and the Noble Coin as a whole:

1. I think the Movement site is not very user friendly. In fact, it reminds me a blog.
We should emphasize the strong points. In short. In big letters, hitting the visitor's eyes in less than 0,3 secs Wink

2. I think the Public Ledger is a very elegant idea, and it's not very common thing. It's our strong point. Why is it so hidden?
The Public Ledger link should be on the front page, (leading to the Ledger itself, and to the Movement explanation).
With big letters, with another color, and a random catchphrase, something like:

As Transparent as it can be
New generation of Transparency
Redefining the Transparency - The Noble Public Ledger
Safe, transparent funding system for charities - The Noble Movement
Fundraising has never been as transparent!

etc... (forgive my Ponglish, there are only ideas Wink

Remove the Sophokles, please.
IMVHO we need to look into the future, not thousands years into the past, sorry, it's just me;)

Cryptos are fascinating because this is such new, futuristic, and world-changing technology - it can change (and is changing) the way we look at things.

3. I think that Download icons should be removed from the Home page, as they are not directly connected to the Movement.
(To another tab, Downloads, Currency or anything). They are reducing clarity of the most important points, which should be listed.

4. I think, regarding future Noble Coin development, that we should make lists of:
- key words (payment system, transparency, charity, cryptocurrency, safe fundraising, public money, etc etc) - for use as tags, but also for finding appropriate portals, websites, forums, groups which should be our target groups.
- marketing catchphrases, like "Frictionless fund-raising", "Transparent money flow", "Cryptographic security", "Reducing transactional costs", "Seamless payment system integration", "New, global way of thinking", "The future is in digital payments. The future is in Noble Movement" etc. etc.
- strong points of Noble Coin and Noble Movement. In short. Less words. More meaning. It really works. (just watch any ad on TV)
(maybe anyone can come up with something, or maybe a contest would be great?)

What do you think?
I can have more of that, if I sit longer, but maybe my ideas are terrible.

i love the savings account idea....

as for the interest. i like the idea of using a portion of the fees, not to sure about raiding the pre-mine twice a month though.

that i would think could act as a disincentive. at least from the development end, would you want to work yourself to death only to give everything away.... i wouldn't.

yes, i do agree that if there was a "savings" account option, it could make this much more attractive to merchants. do in part to. if one is encouraged to save and not spend, it normally does raise the value.

and if more people have their noble in a savings account when we hit an exchange, that would create a shortage of the currency to be traded on the exchange. possibly increasing it's value enough to account for the inevitable pump and dump phase.

i was thinking about it last night while working on something, and i got to thinking, if we can get to the first halving of the reward before for just after hitting the exchanges, that along with the majority of the currency holders, either holding their currency in savings accounts or activily trading them for fiat currency, that could easily force some level of stability into the currency early on the exchanges.

by getting to the first halving point fast enough, we could get ourselves past the initial massive inflationary period with minor bruising. but i agree that we do need to have currency trading on the exchanges, i just think that if the numbers are lower, some will equate that with value, do to their own perceptions and greed, which will increase the market value of the currency itself.

P.S. the savings account, i think would require a secondary wallet, for simplicity. what do you think?

Sorry to say this cdg but there is no halving of the block rewards - this might cause some backlash considering the norm is to halve and reduce supply over 5.5 years in the lead-up to fee only incentives. Our approach was slightly different - I will link the conversation regarding it shortly to understand our position. If it's truly a major issue that will affect us (along with any other technical problems) we can and will always organise a core update if necessary. Cheers.

I agree completely, that's something we started talking about on IRC a couple of days ago. We're definitely gonna look into it.

+1 nothing else to add.

I think it's kind of the same idea as 3 and 1.
Find new ways of communicating efficiently to be more eye-catching.
Of course I agree. Smiley
