Diff 4, amazing Smiley So glad I got my share between 1-2 Smiley

EDIT: You might want to consider lowering the block mining rewards now that we hit an exchange. At current rates every 100th block is worth almost 0.01 BTC and every 1000th block 0.1 BTC. Seems a bit over the top. Wink

Just cannot do that.

I think for this coin to be taken seriously, the devs need to spend some of there reserves. Currently they still hold way to large a percentage compared to the amount of coins in the wild.
For this reason, I see no reason not to hand out exceptionally large prizes! It distributes the wealth, decreases the percentage the devs hold in reserves, and builds up the trust and interest of the community!

I guess Rofo will be the best one to answer that but here goes, my take on what you said.

I think that the giveaways have been really generous so far, I don't know exactly the figure (last update : Giveaways: 7,795,500 (1165 individual giveaways)), but it's really high as far as I'm concerned.
There were up to 5000 NOBLE per person on one unique giveaway which equals, at the current rate, 0.0042 BTC! And some people got multiple giveaways gifts (I know one who got 13000 NOBLE overall which are currently traded for 0.01 BTC!!)

Plus the HUGE miners rewards (600,000 NOBLEs so far, some very lucky miners got up to 300,00 NOBLEs).

As far as I'm concerned, I'd rather see the giveaways and promotions be lowered to even things out for every one now that we're on an exchange.

I think we have to remember that the reserve is gonna be the key to the redistribution to the charities, at least at start. (http://www.noblemovement.com/movement/)

So don't worry about it, reserves have been spent quite generously so far, and will be spent for a much more rewarding purpose later on.

That's my take on the topic, don't think for any second that it's Rofo's one, we'll see what he thinks about it. Smiley

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I would join a pool, the difficulty is too high, so the chance of finding a block is getting more and more slim.

As Norris said, you should join a pool now.
And you have to mine using GPUs, CPUs won't be of much help here.

If you want to know more don't hesitate to come and check us out on IRC - Freenode - #noblecoin. Smiley

on validerrorpool.com you cant even put in a payout adress,  again to another pool pffff

you have to put in your PIN and request the unlock the field so that you can put in the address. This is to help stop people from stealing your coins. If you are having issues with you e-mail not arriving, please PM me on the board here and I will help you with the issues.

GMAIL/HOTMAIL users: check your spam box as the e-mails tend to go there.

Yes, I have to put you in my gmail contact list to avoid the spam box. It lands there every time, even after telling gmail it's not spam.

Some people seem to have missed the big news today.
So just in case :

Confirmed, the exchange works blazingly fast, BTC and NOBL deposits and withdrawals works as a charm (receiving fully confirmed NOBL withdrawal into the wallet takes ~3 minutes?).
And fees are 0% atm AFAIK.

Nice one!

EDIT: work LIKE a charm

I am sorry to say that earlier this morning, my pool (Zapto) was hacked.
They managed to withdraw all funds,
As we do not know the backdoor or route they used,
WE ARE CLOSING OUR POOL
I will remain an active part of the noblecoin community (I'm a miner myself)
I wish this could have gone better.
My bots will remain unaffected,
I apologize,
Icecube45
