sooo.. that means since i can not login to your pool, all my credit gone Huh

Same here. Only yesterdays mining is lost though.. Too bad.
Unfortunately a malicious hacker took control of our database yesterday.  They liberated 600 VTC from the pool wallet, luckily I noticed the intrusion quickly and halted their progress before they could proceed further.  Unfortunately when they realised I was onto them they look the actions of vandalising our database and corrupting large parts of the server.  I'm not going to lie, we have lost some data - much of the last 24 hours of mining data has been lost and all the new user signups since then.

I've had to get the pool back online using a database a few days out of date, the most recent non-corrupt one available and have done my best to reconcile the payments.  You all will need to change your passwords for security.  Also I would suggest setting up an auto pay that will regularly leave you account.

Apologies to all who have been inconvenienced, I have been working the last 10 hours solidly to get the pool back online, including new backend security and moving the webservice across to Nginx from apache.  The pool will also be moving to new more robust servers in the next weeks.  Please contact us if you have any queries.

Thanks for your understanding.

Aleks

Well its not much damage 1 day of mining , BUT its huge profit loss because the diff was low! superb ! so what now ? i think pool admin has to give us from the pool fee what we lost...

I have little problem.

I have mining rig with 5x R9 280x. Vertminer (under BAMT) show 1.8MH/s, but on pool I see only 300-400KH/s (checked on two diffrent pools).

Is it normal? Anyone know what could be a problem?

Dear Verters,
I'm not worried about the current price, as I already made quite a potential profit from it (and I'm a HOLDER, this is just the beggining, or so I want to believe anyway),
But I was just wondering about the volumes. It has been close to 8 hours on Cryptsy where there is absolutely ZERO consolidation of trades, with no buy walls and no sell walls at ALL.
This really feels like only bots are trading with themselves, and this spouts this nonsense.
Could anyone more experienced please enlighten me?
Regards.

Yes, more or less. Not today though.

I am the proud owner of BuyLocalVertcoins.com as a new avenue for distribution. I will part with a limited amount of my hard earned VTC in exchange for cash deposits to my bank at present only. Once buyLocalVertcoins is built I will let others do the swapping, it is so not my thing but vertcoin needs the masses and the masses needs Vertcoin so... store is open but if you already have btc by all means go to an exchange and get some directly.

Good luck.

Oh and in case anyone wonders I will be restocking VTC at least once a day. I am not selling just bridging the gap.

We are nowhere near the top, come what may I am pretty certain of that.

I have around 500 HW at 10000 Accepted Shares. Is that could result in so low hashrate that i see on pool?

Yeah this sucks. I still have around 3 something VTC there.
Hopefully Alek can work something out for us.
If not, I'd be happy to acknowledge it as a "throw-bad-luck-away" donation for his early efforts with vertminer.

I prefer coinedup.com

A little slow but other than that you can always count on them. Always doing updates on twitter.
Support is fantastic. Etc..

Oh and if you want to get it under 0.01 then the next day or two will be your last chance.
Trending upward.

A very humble prediction as it is a pretty wild market but I do not forsee .01 lasting through the night. Another test of .015 once it falls.

what u mean?

I think Jballs is implying that he thinks even though the market is all over the place with low-volume trading (it might be high BTC, but its low VTC realative to how much is being held) That through theese up and down cycles weak hands are selling to strong hands and it will only take a little more push to double our value or more and make .015+ the new playing field.

Seeing how there is only 1.5M+ of these coins, there is no reason with enough community and investment it cannot be trading at a higher value than LTC at some point.

Dude it's like you're inside my head.

Nothing to add. That's what I meant.

+1

yeah Cryptsy is a slowpoke big time, the best thing you can do is to get the Tx ID from the other exchange, and contact cryptsy support,

Yes it's fine. They are slow. Let it simmer, sucks but it's normal.

Can someone please advise why use the modified cgminer (vertminer) as opposed to regular cgminer?

VertMiner at latest version has some updates when using at R9 cards.. mostly R9 290/X but even on my R9 270 I get few % more hash power than on modif. cgminer. Besides, you can set intensity upto 21 here..

On other hand, on 7950 and 5850 I get slightly better results at cgminer..
