Trying a few P2PPool with no Reject and no HW error with over 1MH/s for hours but "no shares yet".  Why is that?
http://112.175.123.94:9171/static/

Normal pools:
vert.bitcrush.info
https://vtcpool.co.uk/

Unable to withdraw, unable to verify email, update VTC address, verify email "invalid token".

Ive gone lone periods without a payout on P2Pool, but it averages out in the end. I've been on it since Sunday and have been getting more than I expected to get. It should even out with a string of payments at some point. There is no 'withdraw' you get paid directly to your wallet with your address as the username in cgminer.
For p2pool, I thought pay out should happen after confirmation at every block and single small numbers even if it is 1 satoshi or 0.000000001 in a block.  I just want to see at least it works.  Is the password important?

I guess the VTC just transfer to address without needs of VTC wallet open using rpcuser/rpcpassword right?

But the P2Pool static website show the VTC wallet address has no shares yet as well.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Hi guys,

I'm new to Vertcoin, I have downloaded the Vertcoin wallet and I'm currently solo mining from it, (setgenerate true 2) my hashes/sec is around 600,

How do I know if anything is happening? I was running it all day yesterday and since this morning but the balance etc is unchanged, how long should it take to see a change?

Thanks

you can use the command "getmininginfo" and you should see a value "hashespersec" above zero
but i don't think you will find anything with solo mining and i recommend pool mining!

I've tried using vertminer-0.5.2, cpuminer-vert-Aleks_N, CudaMiner-Vert-Aleks_N, but I can't get them to work, I've added the batch file with pool details etc but they just flash up for a split second and then disapear, what can I do?

hey guys i'm having trouble with www.poloinex.com and withdrawing coins into my wallet.

It says I have to confirm an email they sent me to finalise withdrawal.. but i'm not receiving any emails, they're not in my spam folder either :|

Anyone else have this prob?  Cry

hmm had no problem with my wd 5 minutes ago. but you can contact support which is realy helpful on polo

thanks just emailed them.
Did you have to confirm yours with an email they sent you?

yes i just received a mail with link to confirm my wd after 1 minute pretty fast.
i did maybe 10 or 15 wd's in the last days and i never had a problem.
they just added a feature to resend withdrawal confirmation emails 1 or 2 days ago (check the tweet box) so you may want to try this first

maybe TC is to high? u should take 70% of your default config for scrypt

Azure Vertcoin Pool - DDOS reisistant P2Pool Node

http://cryptopool.cloudapp.net:9171/

To connect to this P2Pool node simply point your miner at:

URL: stratum+tcp://cryptopool.cloudapp.net:9171
Username: Your vertcoin address
Password: Anything

Sample configuration

cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://cryptopool.cloudapp.net:9171 -u VbNPoxNeiNg6Bj9RwjjS4GazDbKLgUqNDP -p X

Fast facts

1. P2Pool nodes are all part of one single, big, distributed pool
2. When any p2pool worker on any node finds a block, everyone on all the nodes gets paid their share
3. There is no pool wallet, and hence no payout threshold. Payments go directly to your wallet
4. The distributed nature of p2pool resists DDoS attacks

Decentralize the hashrate!

You can try this calculator; http://www.nckpnny.com/sharecalc/ to get an estimate, its mostly about luck and p2pool tries to spread out payouts so not all will get payouts each block. And blocks are coming a little slower than now as pretty much every single new miner went to the regular pools

Why did the bitcoin lost so much value in the las hours? Is this good or bad news for the vertcoin in the longterm? If the bitcoin would ever be around 100$  the vertcoin can take over the number 1 position!

maybe it has something to do with the desaster at mt gox ?

http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/2014/02/07/mt-gox-suspended-bitcoin-withdrawals-end-mt-gox/

i think it is a good sign that vtc is stable or even raising ab bit while btc and ltc are crashing. I like that!

I just saw that as well. It comes and goes from their page and it links to LTC market not VTC. Don't think they are live yet but this is awesome news. I have had nothing but good things to say about Bter. Been very good for me. This is a bigger exchange so nothing but good news here.
