Already did. Still doesn't work. The modded CGminer and vertminer is to blame. Spent the last hour trying to fix it but no go. Finally managed to fix it by reverting to CGminer 3.7.2 and now I'm happily mining FOX while I go to sleep for the rest of the night.

If someone can tell me how they got Vertcoin mining it'd be great. It didn't work for me. Also, there's a new miner program called SGminer. It's basically CGMiner but updated and less bugs.

What sort of benefits are there to switching to the updated vertminer?  I'm believe i'm still running the original modified miner when it kept the cgminer name.  I'm getting 350Kh/s per 280x.  Would it be worth while for the few minutes of downtime to test and switch over?

Yeah, all is intact.  I just don't like leaving coin on exchanges, I always withdraw when i'm done.

i'm using vertminer mining with 2 280x..mining reports ~700khs for the two cards but the pool only shows 20-30 khs

Are you getting any HW errors? Check the cgminer settings thread to see what other people are running with.

BTER is my favorite. China would love this coin.
It would not be hard to get Chinese exchanges to list this. They should be coming off New Years soon.

You need to set your intensity and thread concurrency different than on scrypt, it is more harder to tweak without having HW errors or very little (below 0.1%) My 7950 cards wouldn`t work with classic scrypt settings of 24k tc and i=20,they worked with i=14 and lower tc, around 14k (tc should be a multiple of 256). Maybe this helps you

So, the best way is reporting to Nod32 that this file is a clean file or adding the file to Igone list.

if so wy did you report that by your self ?
there are alot coins coming out these days also with cpu miners they dont have that kind or problems

Try using I13 tc- 8192 powertune -20 and clocks 1000/1490. Running like a charm without any hw errors and around 355 kh/s for each card
