Hi, what is it with this message in https://vtcpool.co.uk/: This Connection is Untrusted You have asked Firefox to connect securely to vtcpool.co.uk, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure. And I see only 15 workers there, what is going on? Hmm, strange. I don't get this in firefox, tried chrome too. The SSL certificate is from a small provider called StartCom - maybe you don't have their root certificate installed? Even if you get that message, your connection is still SSL, it's just telling you that it can't validate that the server you are connecting to is really vtcpool.co.uk - so it's an authentication, rather than security problem. Ie. it shouldn't matter too much, I doubt anyone is DNS spoofing my pool to steal your VTC! 15 workers - oh boy, it was 3 a couple of hours ago! We only started today. Come and join in!

dig into it mate..it's fake..the first released scrypt Asic is here called dualminer...You get 70kh/s for 98$ (will take 1,5-2 years to break even with GPU). https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=409756.140we are still few months away from interesting scrypt Asics and anyway it that happens it's good cause all coins will go to the moon with price, cause diff will sky-rocket and mining will become difficult. basiccly BTC start cost much when diff went sky-high and same thing will happen with scrypt coins once GOOD scrypt asics arrives (obviously only few will survive)...and indeed more people will turn into VTC kind of coins but we are still far ahead from this. anyway I just hope we will get to KGW as soon as we can, cause that's stability and that's what we need. It isn't fake: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/world-first-GridSeed-litecoin-bitcoin-miner-fast-shipping/1625115981.htmlBut price happy the price is fake. the initial price was about $130 for 300KH/s.

Price is fifty percent off the highs since your very important announcement and you have an open debate on whether the miners will just fork off with a new coin and then wtf am I holding?
Shut up and implement the changes and stop talking about implementing changes.
HAHAHA fear of the BAG, by Iron Holden Fear of the BAG Fear of the Baaaaag I have a constant fear that crash is always near... 33 last... no need to fear it's near, it's already here. Maybe we should take another poll.

I've spent the afternoon talking to a couple of coders in the hopes of creating a new exchange. Anyone wants to throw in their brains or bits for a share, PM me.

There are some new ones, but they are totally lacking volume, so I hope it wont be the case with yours.. when it should be done?

FYI, the US hashrates are 0... implications? None I know of.. P2pool is peer to peer distributed pool, all payouts are shared equally (based on your submitted valid shares, PPLNS) between all users on all connected nodes

Most people are still mining on regular pools. I guess the 0 hashrate could mean no one in the US is mining on p2pool or they're all mining on my node in europe.. Like I said, we could use some more hashrate in network!

Like I said, we could use some more hashrate in network! Right, noone is currently mining on the USA East Node. One small miner is on USA West. All of the p2pool power is coming from bengt's European node atm. When any node finds a block, all shares on all pools are paid out. p2pool network-wide is a single pool all working together. In theory, someone wanting to mine off a public p2pool node without setting up p2pool themselves should mine at the node with the low latency from their miners.

I like idea of p2pool.. some small pools are having problems attract miners.. like that, they could mine there and still get paid fairly, right?

much is much.. I am really disapointed by "stability" of coined up.. so please all start writing to CoinEx, if they could add Vert Coin, as we need some stable platform where to trade with coins.. Please make some persnal requests here: https://coinex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/newits much better than any "pool" that nobody even checks.. like that, real person gets that and if enough requests come, they will surely add it soon

Anyone who wants to can run their own node, or just pick whichever one is closest to them,

Guys I really need you help
I've been trying to compile the wallet on centOS 6.5 for hours now and I can not get it to work. On the shared host I am trying to set it up for building some services for the vertcoin community it won't compile because of boost issues.
Since I do not have root access, is there any way to link the libraries used for compiling to own packages? how can I build my own packages and then properly compile the wallet???
