@my vessel

Try using g-1 and tweak your clock speeds and set the I higher. Something like this

cgminer --scrypt  -o -u -p -I 19 -g 1 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 24550 --gpu-engine 1000 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-powertune 10 -v 1 --auto-fan --temp-cutoff 85 --temp-overheat 83 --temp-target 78

You could push the clock speeds untill the point you'll get Hw errors

Start out with I 11, then manually push it to the point where you're close to getting hw errors

Looks like China is going to eat through the sell walls at 0.0025 on coinedup.com
Walls almost halfway down. Here we go up to 0.003 soon.
And this time there is buy support in the low 0.002s.

If MOON got to a 6 million cap then VTC should be at least that. And Vert is not even on Cryptsy yet.
Coinedup is proving itself to be a large exchange in it's own right.

But this really is something different finally.

VTC > LTC > BTC

Vertcoin is faster than BTC and ASIC-proof which LTC is not.

It's poetry. Never felt this way about a coin. I may not even sell this one at all.
I might marry it.

VTC maybe is Asic resistant for now, but surely multipools can pick it up. You just change name of .exe file to cgminer and cgwatcher can handle it, so why multipools wouldn't be able to?

Anyway it's the first coin I mine and hold and hope for great future!

AFAIK the reason why its not profitable for multipool is that the difficulty changes every block.
Multipools hop on "easy" coins to make profit and leave as soon as difficulty changes. But VTC difficulty would change instantly. compared to LTC which would take ~2-3 days

You are not right..I saw multipool mining many times coins like Lotto which also have 1 block diff retarget..At the moment VTC is 2-3x more profitable than doge, so they would mine it for 24h (or whatever profitable period until they kill any buy supply down to non profit level), dump the shit out of it and come back in a week or so for another portion Smiley truth is that this coin is the HARDEST to mine for multipools but just don't say it's multipool resistant because it isn't.

The only thing I don't like about this coin is that I can't mine it. My PC hangs/crashes whenever I run the official miner.  Cheesy

It being harder to multipool mine is what resistant means.  No one is saying it's impossible for multi-pools to mine, just that it makes it harder.
