We are the smallest large pool so if you mine with https://vertcoinheavyindustries.com you can improve the network security without sacrificing variance! We find a block every 40 minutes on average so payouts are regular and predictable. I should also mention we charge only 1% and charge no withdrawal fees for both automatic and manual payouts except for the the network enforced transaction fee. tried several times, Token expired, please try again Tokens are used to help us mitigate attacks; Simply try again to continue

Updated two P2Pool nodes to the new network, now your shares are valid for 12 blocks instead of 3 and your share diff target is based on your hash rate. This update will give you more consistent payouts. P2Pool EU node http://coinardia.com:9171/static/P2Pool US node http://54.201.53.12:9171/static/

First of all, I have to say that since a week VTC is my favorite coin. Before I was a fan of EAC ( still am a little bit). But EAC did very mediocre concerning marketing imo. Doge showed us the way to go. Just become popular and then start building. VTC looks extremely strong. But I see a big danger now Wolong is coming with his Panda. Wolong is a rich guy who knows how to manipulate markets. He has connections in the east and the west and plans to promote huge. Panda is a good name in the eastern world and Wolong wants to create an eastern doge called panda. The guy seems pretty succesfull in what he is doing. Holding a decent amount of VTC it scares me a bit. Using VTC technology, it's possible there is going to be a vtc versus panda war. I would not be surprised that todays dumps in VTC was mainly because of the coming of panda. I am not sure if I will drop my VTC. The way I see it; when panda fails, VTC will become HUGE. But when panda succeeds, what I actually expect from Wolong, then we might have a problem. What do you guys think?
Hey folks! First I wanna great everyone, because this is my forst post! You are such a great community! So much helpful post! One can really use this site as compass on the sea of cryptos! Secondly, my 2 cents for the question is mine panda if that give you more daily income and turn that to vtc. Panda might have show some serious name behind now, but if you look it more carefully it is trying to be too "centralized" or "regulated" for a crypto in my eyes. Same mistake like with fiat currencies, why we got cryptos in the first place. The other thing is, if there is a too "strong" dev team, then community might become more lazy, and less willing to put its own time and energy to promote it. Dont get me wrong, Im pretty sure that this fuzz going to bring some success, but my bet is use that extra to get into a better position somewhere else, then think panda as the next "big thing".

"PandaCoin" may be catchy with the Asian countries, but in over all marketability, Vertcoin sounds more modern and techish. Additionally, it appears that we have more ideas for actually integrating VTC into the world.
PandaCoin also doesn't seem to have anything in the way of community. Even before VTC launched, it had people throwing out ideas and getting excited. The PND (or whatever the acronym is going to be) crowd seems very typical of most pump'n'dump coins.

Azure VTC P2Pool node has been updated! Your shares are now valid for 12 blocks (instead of 3) and your share diff target is based on your hash rate. Payouts will be more regular and consistent for small miners=============================================== Azure Vertcoin Pool - DDOS reisistant P2Pool Node
http://cryptopool.cloudapp.net:9171/ No registration - No minimal payout!
| | To connect to this P2Pool node simply point your miner at:
URL: stratum+tcp://cryptopool.cloudapp.net:9171 Username: Your vertcoin address Password: Anything | | Fast facts about P2Pool
1. P2Pool nodes are all part of one single, big, distributed pool 2. When any p2pool worker on any node finds a block, everyone on all the nodes gets paid their share 3. There is no pool wallet, and hence no payout threshold. Payments go directly to your wallet 4. The distributed nature of p2pool resists DDoS attacks

cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://cryptopool.cloudapp.net:9171 -u VbNPoxNeiNg6Bj9RwjjS4GazDbKLgUqNDP -p X

I run my own node..I will be back home from work in 6h, it's better to compile and run new code for P2p mining ASAP or should I wait for 22GMT ?
Boris: Your mops pool is extremly lucky overall..89% all time and 80% last 24h are pretty impressive..start thinking about moving there cause p2p usually hoovers above 100%

That is entirely up to you, the new network has about 57 mHash atm, and the old one has 210. So if you switch over right away your blocks will come a little slower for a while. But your payouts might be larger.

My first marketing push(es) will *hopefully* start over the weekend. Let me know if you have any suggestions or feedback! Maybe you should change the "Bid/Ask" with "Buy orders/Sell orders" since some non anglophone users (like me) might get a bit confused, it happened to me and a friend of mine (yeah I know it's a pretty dumb mistake)

Interesting. The way you think now is exacty what I did regarding eac and doge. I thought, oh eac is much more quality than doge etc...Luckily I finally bought doge as well. I feel now is bit the same. VTC is quality. Panda is going for publicity.

We shouldn't forget that the Asian market is a real engine. Some people here talk like you could neglect that market. That is definetely not true... Once the Asians go crazy and support a certain coin like hell, we'll see who can stand that and sticks to VTC. Nevertheless, I think we are on the right track. I know we can't pull crazy ideas out of the hat in this early stage to conquer the Asian market. If the Panda-team puts loads of effort into marketing to the Asians... we will see what happens. I am curious.

What may appear doesn't matter. It may sound anything but that is useless without marketing.
