I believe my Vert wallet I got is hacked.  The balance that shown on wallet is different from the published blockchains.

The wallet reported less than actual amount for the sake of sending out units to secret address not shown in wallet but showing in blockchains.

The method the wallet hacked is simple.  When it started up, it create a address for use until next restart.

When I send out certain units, the hidden units is sending out to these theft wallet address.  I believe it works on miners wallet when you never counter check the wallet balance and the actual balance in blockchains.  It started with small amount until the % grown to 10%.  It was hacked for almost more than a week.

Always check the blockchain using vertcoin block explorer.  i believe this kind of theft in real world happens but only BitCoin ptotocol like this can trace this problem.

where can I get the Vertcoin-CGMinerAleksNR3 miner? There are no working links.

I have it on my computer if you want me to upload it. Oddly enough, I prefer this miner to vertminer, though I will say I havent tried Vertminer since 0.5.2.

I heard theres an SGminer for vertcoin now. I would be interested to try that. Anyone have a link for that?

Thanks for the info.   Apologize for false alarm.  Wallet unable to show the spent info?  I never notice that until I notice today because the difficulty escalate almost tripple and reduce mining VTC.

github.com/veox/sgminer/tree/nfactor, but I'm assuming you want a Windows binary... At your own risk:

Don't be silly. Price rarely follows difficulty, its the other way around.

Hello!
Miner not mine. Going without problems, connected to the pool, but not mine.

I followed these instructions:
git clone https://github.com/Bufius/vertminer-gpu
wget https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/71841462/ADL_SDK_6.0.zip
mkdir adl
mv ADL_SDK_6.0.zip adl
cd adl
unzip ADL_SDK_6.0.zip
cd include cp *.h ~/vertminer-gpu/ADL_SDK
./autogen.sh
CFLAGS="-O2 -march=native -msse2" ./configure --enable-scrypt --enable-opencl
make

What's the problem?
Thanks in advance.

P.S.: AMD App SDK already installed, as I put it together with CGMiner 3.7.2 for scrypt.

Here is another connected node on the P2Pool network, Slowly but surely becoming your one stop P2Pool destination.

There is no registration required, visit the site http://e-pool.net for mining information.!

vertminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://vtc.e-pool.net:8940 -u YourWalletAddress -p password

Feel free to use this mail epool.net@gmail.com to send a message.

PS: we also have facebook page :  https://www.facebook.com/epoolnet

Happy mining!

I'm still holding quite a bit of VTC at present.. i am banking on the fact that as soon as ASICs get adopted in the scrypt scene.. VTC will take off again.. big.  Just holding on patiently till that happens Smiley
