Hi,

We don't really bounty things at VTC, we don't have that much of it! (VTC is not premined).

However if you have a cool project in mind you can submit a request for consideration at vertcoinmarket.com to run a fundraiser.

PS. Voted on coinpayments.

How come mining vtc is less profitable than mining doge using Gpu when asic already exist for doge (scrypt). Isn't mining vtc suppose to be more profitable ?

I believe that GPU miners will migrate to Scrypt-N when other brands of scrypt-ASICs enter market this year making scrypt-mining forever unprofitable for GPU miners. Gridseed could lower their prices but their hashrates are not fast enough to dramatically raise difficulty.

I am not sure. Because we have other algorithm like x11

In coinwarz You can see where hash goes and clearly Most hash not go to x11, Because recent fast price up(30-40% in doge and ltc) and currently not match new Hashes come than before  and hashes just migrate to doge and ltc And new coin which is also script Fluttercoin (FLT). I know this by deep review. After asics will completly cover doge and ltc,FLT.Where will be enough Gpus even after some sell to gamers for VTC and X11 approx 20 times more than currently.Curently VTC has more hash power and X11 coin .

So, the value of Vertcoin is still fairly low, why are we getting less market traction than many shitcoins that use Vert's code?
I'd imagine contacting a service such as Coinbase, and in turn, https://www.joinsnapcard.com/ (a site used to purchase things from websites such as ebay, amazon, ect, with bitcoin. I've used it before for items above $1000, it's definately legit) would allow us more interest.

A site that's easy for merchants to convert VTC->USD would help a lot, at least in theory.

Edit: Oops, didn't read previous posts, I'll put in some BTC for votes!

On coinwarz.com you can see that the most hashing power goes into vertcoin: ~6-7 gh/s. Next is the new coin caishen with ~ 1gh/s all others float around 100mh/s.

Caishen is hot because its new with low diff => fast money on exchanges.

I strongly recommend to hold most of your vtc till at least dec. this year. Just wait till all the asics are delivered and watch the diff of all scrypt coins, they will shoot up like a rocket.
Atm plus ~ 1-2 month it would be profitable to mine scrypt coins with thouse "low budget" asics aka gridseed. You can do the math on coinwarz.com.
But then all the big machines will hit the market and gridseed + GPUs are obsolete for scrypt coins.
Then you have two choises:
First: you bite your own arse because you missed the train when it was still slow (aka NOW) and havent mined scrypt-n coins / bought some new GPUs to powerup your rig(s) (have a look on ebay/other stores, all the asic (pre)owners throw them away for "cheap"[they know what's coming!]).
Second: you start burning up your scrypt coins on exchanges to get some scrypt-n coins and start gambling like the most.

As i said some posts before: I am not a guy with 20+ MH/s power rigs because power is very expensive here in germany. But i clearly recognize a chance when it jumps at me. I have not an awful lot of vtc (have a look on my vtc adress in my signature) but the few i have i will hold. Why? Because i think vtc will hit a price like ltc in nov. 2013. You just have to wait.

If you like my advice, just send me some vtc Smiley

Current asics are nearly same like gpu only kwh price is lower but new asics will be 100 times powerful from Kncminner and Viper they will come in q2-q3 in this year .after that not any gpu will stay on scrypt.even current gridseed asics can push gpus out of scrypt but with a bit low temp.

Right now I can mine scrypt and make 0.02 btc per day at 1.78mh/s, while the same machine mining vert at 850kh/s wouldn't net me the same profits.

I don't like scrypt but I need to pay for power and get ROI eventually.

On some rigs I'm mining vert and holding anyway...

I think Doge as after few days doge reward will be halved so price rise for this reason and miners can get more  But this will stop after few days so For Me its no worth to switch my 6000 Mhs rig to Doge as after few days I'll switch back + 20 usd for so match effort. For getting more profit I can buy now Vtc as price low and diff also relative low and make more profit after doge reward change.

FLT so unstable and hashrate swings . They all are very immature high price and difficulty fluctuations . So that very short game.
