Whew big day for hobonickel; huge week altogether!

I bought a couple hundred coins to play with.  WishI bought it last week now when I first heard about it's rate of return (pos).

I like the wallet too; hope this coin does well in the future (but its tough with over 200+ coins now).

If I have coins in my wallet for staking and they gain max interest for the period of time,  will those original coins gain interest again and the staked coins gain interest for the next period of time if I leave them in there, or do the originals just produce once and that's it?

I've been pretty happy throwing 10% to 15% of my hashrate towards HBN at all times, lately.   

But yeah,  the diff is going to get ramped up for a minute here.

This is boring enough to keep investers and miners away.

Say you have 100 coins.  Wait 10-12 days and those stake. Say they stake at 2%, so you get a 2 HBN reward. The stake actually splits your 100 HBN block into two 51 HBN blocks. Those 51 HBN blocks are brand new and will stake to two blocks of 26 or similar blocks. The process continues to repeat. Eventually your blocks get very small and eat up a lot of cpu resources.

I really liked the 10000 satoshis mark. Cheap coins to build my account... I like the current price (and I am amazed of the 29800 satoshis test line at the time of writing this) but if this coin could stay under the radar longer I won't mind  

I feel this is the kind of situation where I am happy to see people trusting the coin and sad that the price moves up so fast that I can't keep up to buy at a good price!

And I'm not going to talk about the mining difficulty that sky rockets... damn bots

Exact opposite.  Hobonickels isn't going to do well due to name alone to start with, then factor in that people already associate it with being very low on coinmarketcap.  Mint will appear on coinmarketcap at a higher level and stay there.

Exact opposite.  Hobonickels isn't going to do well due to name alone to start with, then factor in that people already associate it with being very low on coinmarketcap.  Mint will appear on coinmarketcap at a higher level and stay there.

MINT will be pure POS with decreasing stake rate soon and there will be no miners.

And I am not sure if the MINT Dev will be still doing great works like HBN Dev is after more than half an year.

Yea, I didn't mean to be derogatory to the hobo dev, it's just that having your currency associated with hobos is going to be quite an obstacle to overcome.  The name does pull a slight lead over Junkcoin and Leadcoin though.
