Pfew... just in before the launch! bought some more DGB as I think we're almost ready for take off I do believe however Digibyte should maybe get a restyling somewhere in the future, the logo looks like something a cheap computer store would use. (No kidding, I actually saw almost the same identical logo somewhere for a small computer store)

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in
Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it
will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

(No kidding, I actually saw almost the same identical logo somewhere for a small computer store) The wallet/QT is in need of a restyling, now it like any other wallet. The logo and wallet should be "one and the same" in design. DGB still has one of the better logos compared to other coins according to branding theory. Personally I think we should use a different font and a lighter blue color.

Digibyte community, where are you, let's talk about mining, trading, future promotion projects, etc... We got to 200 pages quit quickly but we are most definitely slowing down and losing momentum!

Dev Team Update:
We are working hard on finishing the new user tutorials, promo video and upgrading the website /server. We are also still planning out the DGB exchange.
Once we have all that done and we are on a few more exchanges we are going to make a marketing push to attract new users and merchants.
We are thinking of utilizing the FaceBook ad service at first. Since they allow you to target specific demographics such as people who have "liked" bitcoin, or computers or some sort of investment page.
We figure for a few grand we could put the DigiByte logo and brand in front of a few million people.
What do you guys think?
Any suggestions for Ad's, slogans or hot points to attract new users? Or goal is to become a bridge to attract new users into the crypto world.
I think great idea. I also suggest to make Wikipedia page for DigiByte. So when people see DigiByte they can read more on it in Wiki as it will look more legitimate. I would do that before initiating campaign. Also as others pointed out wallets across all platforms (especially windows, mac and android) must work without a flaw. What about reddit tip bot? The more people hold DiGiByte the more awareness it gets.

any movement on a bigger exchange yet? I wonder what the average length of time for new coins to get listed is. I see some real clunkers on cryptsy now.. wonder why dgb still hasn't been added??
