Morning.

I'm looking to start mining DGB...

Without creating a storm of pool ads, are there any consistent pools going? I checked a few from the OP, with not much luck...

Thanks!

Stats right now

Network Hashrate: 1gh
http://dgb.get-by.com/: 50mh
http://digi.coinium.org/: 140mh
https://www.miningpool.co/: 210mh
http://dgb.smalltimeminer.com/: 425mh (don't join here right now they are near 51% hash power)
http://digi.morecoins.org/: 86mh
https://www.cryptopoolmining.com/dgb/: 31mh
https://pool.chunky.ms/dgb/: 12mh
https://dgb.cryptoculture.net/: 15mh

Here are the main pool with their respective Hashrate power right now. For my part i'm switching between get-by, miningpool, luckyminer and coinum depending on the hashrate power to not pass 51% on a pool.

its the same for me too. I searched for their own thread but they don&t seem to have one so hope the dev of the site sees this.

btw, are you really using port 3332? on my a/c it says to use 3348..or are u not mining Digibyte?

reddit Tip Bot Testing

I've setup a test environment and modified the altcointip bot to work with Digibyte on the Digibyte reddit!! I know a lot of people have been asking for this. http://www.reddit.com/r/Digibyte/comments/1vcl8o/the_next_stepa_tip_bot_and_a_better_faucet/

Before everyone goes crazy with this and starts trying to deposit and tip massive amounts of coin, be warned that the bot is in testing at the moment. Any help that you can provide will be appreciate. Only fund your account with small amounts of DGB and tip small amounts (e.g. 1 DGB) until this is fully tested!!

First, we need to get the reddit /u/digitipbot upvoted with positive karma so it can post comments and send messages freely. Please upvote the bots comments in the thread above and as you see test tips posted.

Also, there are a few other items that we need to consider before full production usage:
  • Permanent host location (have this on a micro AWS instance right now). Could keep this running but would need to start paying for the time at some point.
  • Comprehensive testing (small transactions, registrations, etc)
  • Digitipbot wiki on the Digibyte reddit page to explain how it works

Please send any feedback or suggestions!!!

Enjoy!

This is awesome! Keep up the good work!

What's with the low price recently?  Almost everything else is up today but we're still languishing in the 160's. I don't want to be alarmist but without more buy support DGB will get crushed when cryptsy lists it

It's in a spot to be very easily be pushed down right now to then be able to buy crap loads at a much lower price.  I'm mad coinbase doesn't accept debit card.  I'm so ready to buy more Digibyte.  If I could at least dump these 20 million batcoins I have.  Cheesy

The low price is temporary.  This coin has a bright future.

Yes, every market cycles. I do believe coinbase has an instant buy feature once they have verified your identity. http://blog.coinbase.com/post/55203204550/instant-bitcoin-purchases-at-coinbase
