Also, on a side note, does anyone here know anything about the R9 290x? Im trying to find out the name of the cable that plugs into the power supply. I'm short one for my rig.

If you're referring to the 8 and 6 pin power cables to power the card, they are simply called PCIe power cables.  Any decent power supply will have a couple..., but the card also comes with a molex adapter to power from an older PSU.  But...  seriously...  if you're shelling out on a GPU like the 290x, you want to feed it nice clean juice...  so invest in decent PSU... it will pay off in the long run!

Whoever mines the block which ends up containing your transaction will get its fee.

I have to running right now getting 1600-1700kh. Is this good for two of these cards?

And for some reason, The PSU only came with 2 PCIe cables, strangely. But i heard it was a good PSU, and it hasn't let me down yet

2 x r9 290x's should be getting you around 1800 on the LOW side... up to 2000 if they've been tuned in properly....  I get the numbers you mention with the non-x variety, the r9 290.

Depends on the PSU...  you have to remember that running more than 2 hard core GPUs is still pretty specialised...

How come I keep getting frequent emails about workers being inactive?  cgminer says they are mining constantly.  since my hashrate on your site is frequenly 30%=/- lower than it should be, it leads me to believe they are indeed getting kicked offline

This has been asked some time before...  and not yet answered.  I too got this, so much so that I eventually disabled the notifications as it was getting annoying.  I've never had this on other pools with notifications unless my worker has in fact gone down...  so not sure why this is happening.  Anyone from Luckyminers care to comment?

Same here, I had to disable them.  I've been keeping track of my earnings though vs the estimated daily rewards for my max hashrate and the payouts have been on par.  So everything looks ok here.  It still makes you wonder what's going on though.

It hasn't been.  It's still very early.  This coin has come a long way in such a short time it feels like a lot longer than it's been.
