All due respect, dgb.Get-By.com has been under attack every single day without fail since the launch of the coin and still has an over 99.x% uptime.

That said, we are indeed re-writing some database code at the moment due to recent attacks that focused on stacking the database queue.

Ostryyy, honestly, relax friend.  If you are planning on investing in DigiBytes, delete your exchange bookmarks.  Watching the market is a terrible idea when you investing, and will drive you crazy.  Worse, it will make you make emotional decisions, which almost always lead to less than optimal if not negative results.

Don't invest in something because you think the price will go up.  Invest because you think the value is higher than the current price.  And then relax, and wait for the market to catch up with your valuation Grin

I am starting to think if coins are popular on bitcointalk it means it has too many miners dumping out.

iCoin has a 44 page ANN and the price is actually going up on CryptoRush. lol and it seems like no one even knows about the coin.

The mind boggles

If the digibyte devs were behind a name like iCoin it would be 10 times the value now!!

The number of coins that will ultimately be in circulation at the peak of the DGB life-cycle is a lot of coins: true.  This was not a mistake, but a prudent long-term observation.  There are 6 Billion + human beings in the world. That figures to less than 4 DGB per person in the world, assuming the population doesn't grow -> which is a pipe dream.  That means we are looking at even less than 4 DGB per person.

Many would argue that the world population has no relation to a crypto-currency.  A fair argument; I think they are short-sighted.  If we are talking about tomorrow, or this year, I think it is a very accurate argument.  A true currency, however, doesn't exist today and tomorrow.  It has to function 10, 100, 500 years from now.

You guys crack me up  Grin

"Many would argue that the world population has no relation to a crypto-currency" < FULL STOP.
Even the dollar amount available in the world has NO relation to the number of people on the planet.

"It has to function 10, 100, 500 years from now."  Roll Eyes
Really? 500 years? There is not one currency in existence that is 500 years old and you imagine that "digibyte", conjured up in a few weeks time (okay, months) will become the world currency? Cheesy

Stop trying to make sense of something that doesn't make sense, please.
DGB was created to make a fast buck. (and yes everyone into crypto's is here to make money, except for the very VERY few).
