We had a disk failure on the db server, it took some times to rebuild the raid array. No data lost PS : always set a back up pool

Ouch, disk failure on a db server, talk about a bad day. Whats the raid array setup? Do high performance DB arrays run in Raid 5 / 10 / 50?
Thankfully I was able to utilize Birds P2Pool, I had a ton of rejects though due to my crappy internet =\

I really feel that you need to fix the difficulty spiking. You owe it to your supporters. If you are using average difficulty of last 5 blcoks, then (10+10+10+10+9960) / 5 gives you 2000 average difficulty. And you profitability graph looks like this: (notice how DGB is much more profitable than MYR or SFR) Thanks srcxxx

So I'm having the strangest problem ever. I am compiling the wallet under Ubuntu, without graphics interface. Everything is fine but when I start it, it simply shuts down in a moment. There's absolutely no error or anything suspicious in debug.log. Anyone had anything similar? I am having this on two different computers, one with Ubuntu 14.04 and the other one with Ubuntu 13.10. Same thing. Can anyone help?

I've said it before, and I guess I'll have to repeat myself again: not only are you a fraud and a crook, but you're an absolute buffoon. Anyone who confuses that with me needs to get his brain checked, and anyone who is so stupid as to not realize that his enemies are growing day by day at an ever quickening pace, is, well, I'm out of synonyms, so let's just say a plain old stupid idiot (just in case the other terms are over your little pin head). On Fri, Sep 26, 2014 at 5:37 AM, < forclosedhomes@nethere.com> wrote: Do you ever learn? Agreed - and with size bids (that keep coming in) under the market creating what looks like a solid floor.

Agreed - and with size bids (that keep coming in) under the market creating what looks like a solid floor. Well, digibyte never went much under 20, it's only temporary lack of buying support. It's a good coin afterall, you find coins in the milion dollars with "branding" as their only reason d'etre, no devs and a bit of marketing. But the community really feels dead, it's not that there's too few people, more like noone's active, maybe it's the 20 satoshi curse? even the usually exuberant doge community felt dead when it was aound 20 sat... I'm trying to throw a doge-digibyte giveaway party on reddit to light up the mood ( http://www.reddit.com/r/Digibyte/comments/2hgqv8/idea_dogedigi_crossgiveaway/ ) but the response so far has been kinda small, go on reddit smetimes, folks!

I found that about youre antminers, and no i am not a dev! Do you get the point? You now know how it feels when you want youre coin to go up and somebody is stagnating you! And the dump on youre GRS is fair, bought, mined in a fair way! And not like you selling all DGB you get in a disgusting unfair way. Maybe now it's 0.6 btc, wel count that for the time you are doing this? 30 days? 18 btc!! and i'm sure its more! Well it's because DGB is really steady and a good coin and it's handling youre dumps great!,, i'm sure when someone is selling more then 18 btc on youre GRS you would be flat broke. carrying the biggest GRS bag. Youre plan is not working to get youre GRS up and then dump it on youre community, They are a few steps in front of you

Shouldn't this thread be about DigiByte?
There is a lack of trading volume in DGB because DGB has been disabled for over 9 days now on Bittrex.
It should be priority number 1 for the DigiByte team to have trading working again on Bittrex.

well, I don't know how they manage to do that. My wallet in my Bittrex account shows Disabled for 9 days now.
edit: it seems if you go to the bittrex mainpage, search for dgb, then you can get to the DGB trading page and it seems possible to trade. But that is a stupid thing to do if they list the coin as Disabled and wallet under maintenance.

We really need some Good attention and i like youre idea! Willing to donate 15k DGB when everything works! And i will come and support on Reddit. Great! Before trading (we already have cryptsy and mintpal), before tech (digibyte's the most advanced among tipping coins), before pools (we already have some, despite issues) we need a community. More specifically, a community on reddit! the other means are nowhere near as effective as a solid reddit community, and unfortunately we don't have that. We also need more memes, imo, doge has pineapples, funny grammar and comic sans. RDD has, hmm, they have "die stupid doge" as their motto (grumpy fellows XD) and some pr. Digibyte has a nice mascot, a friendly relationship withb other coins, but that's it. We don't even have an actual walking robot for what matters! (that'd be seriously cool heck I might even work to build one) Some say "volume kills a coin" I disagree, dgb only has 150k dollars of market cap (heck, you can't even buy a house with all dgb in existence), just a bit more community involvement and it'll fly! We don't need titanic sums, or crazy exploits like doge. Digibyte's solid, no risk of it crumbling because of bugs, dev leaving, or lack of mining support. People realize that and there's always some ready to buy at lower prie if buy support falls. We just need a decent comunity activity, at least on reddit, the most visible social network for coins. Yeah facebook and stuff are nice (I think there's a multicoin tipping app for facebook) but reddit still has the lion share.

To get the tipping started on reddit, please get in touch with Cryos75 - Reddit tip-bot developer. Another nice Tipping is on Facebook. https://apps.facebook.com/wpmultitipping/Just join this group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/digibyte/Now they have also trouble with the wallet like bittrex. "The Digibyte daemon started to complain about a broken blockchain. We're resyncing it. Balances will come back in a couple of hours." Hope this can get fixed asap, already informed the dev from wpmultitipping. Have a great weekend.....

I would love to see if we could start getting the Reddit community more involved with Digibyte, so many coins use reddit for tipping / awareness / information and I fee like it would really help our presence if we were able to have most posts on there!
At least for me, that's how I got involved in the Crypto world, I hope we can bring others into DGB through our Reddit presence.

I agree. To be honest, I find BTCTalk fairly dysfunctional. I check reddit at least once per day and I'm surprised it gets so little love.
