Guys, I have over 5 million DGBs on MP and cannot withdraw and people start saying they are a scam....
What should we do ? Any contact to Moolah ? Thanks.
We have not had any direct contact with Moolah yet. We have been able to withdraw the small amount of BTC we had that we where using to buy DGB. If anyone has been able to successfully withdraw please let us know! We will be contacting them.

They have had problems as far as am aware and they have the markets open on site and can trade it. As for processing withdrawals if missing coins then need to raise ticket with support or try reaching moolah on irc on freenode for #mintpal

I can tell you that there seems to be a withdrawal issue if you are trying a certain amount of DGB. It feels like a hard cap. It has occurred to me on Mintpal and the same issue is now happening on CEX.IO. Do you think it could be a wallet restriction?

We have not had any direct contact with Moolah yet. We have been able to withdraw the small amount of BTC we had that we where using to buy DGB. If anyone has been able to successfully withdraw please let us know! We will be contacting them.

It may very well be a hard cap. For instance Cryptsy limits withdrawals to 9,999,999 coins.  Try withdrawing in a much smaller increment first to see if it works.

Could be a daily cap too. Even at lower amounts, the withdrawals are getting denied at CEX.IO. Another support ticket placed!

The problem is that there is no DGB withdrawal page or DGB is not on the balance overview section... It is disabled for withdrawals mainly...
It will be sad if I lose my 5.8 million DGBs ...

PS: Do you think I should take moolah to court at this very moment or should I wait ? I hate this kind of issues... Even if it is maybe with the current rate just over 1 BTC, I just hate to lose my hard earned money... That is why I always take this kind of issues very serious..

This coin seems to be doing all the right things - why does the price keep dropping?

Is it simply the massive inflation rate?  If so, are the devs planning to slow that down to give the price a chance to rise?

Cheers!

Vlad,

We have been having internal discussions about this. Simply put we doubled the production of coins at block 145k.

DigiByte was on track to produce all of its coins over a 30 + years. Now it will happen in about 15 years. We are potentially thinking of a hard fork next spring that will cut new coin production in half.

What is the communities take on this?

Though it's not an answer to your question, it's definitely not unrelated.

Digibyte is a crypto that has found itself changing and innovating and rapid speeds, but maybe that isn't a good thing. I don't think People want their money changing every half a year.
If we're going to make massive changes to DigiByte then we better make sure that the next time is the best time.

I have my heart (And my wallet, what little of it there is) set on DGB. But we should really find a nice and stable place to be.

Also, as far as I can tell, a hard fork would just mean that anyone on clients made before the fork happens couldn't interact with the new blockchain, right?
I've been on the forums for a while but I was never really sure if I had figured out what a fork really was...

DGB is my and the future's coin of choice! Don't cry if you don't invest Wink

Next spring is way too long.  Inflation has to be cut much much sooner but instead you guys doubled an already high inflation. I find that pretty shocking given the current situation of oversupply of coins.

I really hope the current hyper inflation is cut back by at least 80% before DGB is dropped into non-existence.

Good luck.

The most important reason is that DGB does not seem interesting to investor... Not yet any marketing or advertising...
It just seemed to them like any other coin around maybe more minable options involved...

Therefore, not much buy walls but those inflated coins come to be dumped so results in price drop...
If this is the rate in next 2 weeks we will see 12-13 Sats unless an interesting news came up.

I think there is nothing wrong with the current inflation rate, rather than reducing it, we should let people use DGB around the world including china, do the right thing like marketing, advertising, then this amount of DGB will not be enough for the world... Now you see bitcoin is just not enough....

PS: If the reward is halved, I would not mind though. It can be good in the long run. If it should be done anyhow, then should be done in the next update.
We should not really play a lot with the main core of the coin too much... The investors may run away due to radical decisions on the coin.

BTER.COM should add DGB... That might help a lot.
