Can you tell me, why you are buying this miner for 100$ ? It makes no sense to me , 70Kh/s raward is ~1$/day. Break even 100 days ?!?   Seems like the scrypt asic race has startet, 100 days form now reward will be 10Cent ...

Its same like with the bitcoinminers, for example bitfury costs 200$ . Reward is 29$ a month , so break even is 6 months ? Maybe someone can explain it to me , because it makes no sense ...

Cause we are hobbiest, we like cool and new things; say it with me "I'm a Geek and I'm Proud".

Why does anything have to make sense? I mean effectively didn't we all pay money for wow gold, it all has no real value except to us as a community.

The guy at the garage doesn't care that we have 5 7950's on riser cables.

Are you running them from a hub or directly in USB ports on the PC?

Well I got them and here is a screenshot

Mind showing a pic of the 'BTC Status' and 'cgminer output' tab as well? I'm assuming this was being run in dual mode. Thanks

I was running only in LTC mode on a Anker USB 3.0 6+charge hub .. though I think there is a problem with my system.

I'll get several comm errors, but had the same problem with other USB sticks, but on other machines those same sticks don't have a problem.

I'll be moving them soon, just playing around with them right now.

So... if you go back a few pages you can see my explaination that expands on the cost effiency between cards
v.s. asic USBs. But just in case you don't wanna go through all that here is a link:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=409756.msg4788407#msg4788407

Its starts with a quote talking about power. And then goes into my soap box rant about the added cost of
cooling and the ability to expand into large rig systems. You can skip that part as I just sumarized it for you
the cool part is the math of the "average" video card cost vs 10 of these USB sticks.

Received (3) pack today and they are hashing at ~70 kH/s each as advertised.

*Note they would not install/run in the Anker/Aitech 10 port hubs but did recognize and run correctly when used in a ASICminer 49 Port USB hub.

Then that might be my problem Smiley

So far the eBay experiment is 7 hours in, 34 views and 4 watchers. I'm going to guess the watchers are from this thread to see what it does go for.

Yep, I intentionally started below cost, to see what the FMV would be. Also, got a few private messages with people willing to trade btc and whatnot, but I really want to see what the "market" will do. Though, if they were people from this thread asking for anything less than 90, then they should of know what I paid for it and asking 90 would be an instant loss.
