Hey all,

I downloaded the wallet last night, let it run overnight and still not syncing. Anyone have any extra nodes I can plug in?

Thanks!

Hmm, it should work by default pretty well.  I can share all the ones I had in my conf (which isn't needed as much now) file here.  Don't have many in mine really and it syncs pretty fast on the network.  Just these 2.

rpcport=54448
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
addnode=23.253.71.56
addnode=192.237.223.87

Thanks. I have those as they were in the conf file from the download. I'm running Windows 8.1. Downloaded the wallet from the OP and from the website. Neither are syncing for me. When I run getpeerinfo it comes up with {} which is odd. I ran the wallet straight up and ran it with the wallet with the conf file in appdata. I tried adding the nodes in console but got error 32601. Only one instance of the wallet is running. I have also deleted everything from appdata and re-ran the wallet. Firewall is off and router is open. Also rebooted. Not sure what else to do.

I can say this, just because a firewall seems to be off does not mean it's really completely off. I use kaspersky at the moment, and even though I've disabled the firewall, it somehow seems to still block things. Not saying your issue is a firewall of course, with 17 other wallets running I'd find it hard to believe that it's the firewall, but best way to make sure, start Windows in safe mode. I don't know if the wallet will still work at that point, but if it does, it should for sure tell you if it's a firewall issue. I would also check for things like Peerblock, if you have that or some other similar IP blocker, I know that sometimes it can end up blocking IPs that you wouldn't expect it to.

I'm looking into what error 32601 might mean, I'm not too familiar with the console yet.

For people who are trading on CryptoRush > website is under DDOS attack and might be turned off until DDOS is over.

Well, that was kinda easy/cool.  Did a little shopping on Altoutlet and worked well - used some of my USDe!

Besides that, investing in a little more here on MP.  Agree on threads above, you can't just "pump" coins but slow growth is a good thing.  Big things are coming for USDe in weeks ahead.

-T

Yup, does work pretty well!!

Did you know that using USDe, you can now have your favorite
gifts, gadgets, electronics and apparel delivered right to your doorstep?

why is noblecoin being advertise in this thread?
Meant to reply to this earlier, they aren't advertising noblecoin, they're advertising their exchange, they just happen to have some promotional deal going with noblecoin at the moment. Perhaps we should think of jumping on this bandwagon after Noble's promo is done?

Can somebody please tell me why my wallet is not syncing properly? Does it have something to do with the mandatory update? I only just saw the mandatory update. Will all the transactions that were made to me by the pool I am on disappear if I update my wallet now? (I have not received any new transactions on my wallet since it is not syncing even though a lot of USDe was sent to me by my pool over the last few days). In short I cannot back up my wallet.

Any help is very appreciated. Thanks.

We are looking into a potential issue with the node seeder. In the meantime, if you are having trouble synchronizing, can you try adding these nodes to your usde.conf file and restarting the wallet?

Just make a full backup of you wallet and then install the latest wallet.
Your coins which are not showing up now should then show up as they were probably mined with the new fork/chain.

I installed the new wallet and copied the new config to appdata, but now it's telling me EXCEPTION: 11DbException then it says not enough space. I am not sure what they mean because I have plenty of free space on my SSD.

There were some others having a similar problem a few days ago. Below is what the DEV answered to them. After this I did not see them come back with the same problem.
So back-up your wallet.dat (appdata\USDe dir), delete everything in there EXCEPT wallet.dat and then start USDe wallet.

strange error with new wallet?..   on the bottom left, the bar disappears and I get
EXCEPTION: 11DbException
Db::get: Not enough space
(path to usde.exe) in ProcessMessages()

...  Huh

Did you backup your wallet.dat file and delete the other files (chain files) to allow them to just all redownload?  That should do the trick it seems, a fresh install.  Overall the wallet is working fine on Macs, PCs, Unix - but sounds like there are just a few cases of this where you may have something system specific conflicting.  We are hear to help troubleshoot with you though!  Main thing - protect that wallet.dat file!

USDe will feature two pages in the book called Cryptocurrency "The Alt-ernative" the Beginner's Reference

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=483187.new#new

Please donate to the below USDe wallet address in order to help fund this project:

It will have 2 pages similar to this:

If you spot any spelling or grammar errors, these are easily sorted.  I do have a full time job as well as trying to get this project completed too.

Sad to hear steadymining is shutting down (also the other altcoin pools they have).

Did you try to connect directly through their IP address: 149.210.166.111

Anyone know why they're shutting down?
