A friendly "hello" from Cryptonankee, one of the original founders of USDe! The DEV is alive and closely watching the market.

I apologize for no recent updates and don't want to bore you to death with stories of how other priorities in life like sickness and family prevented the DEV from focusing on the coin for the past few months. In the spirit of full disclosure, the remnant of the team that was assembled earlier this year had for the most part left the Bitcoin scene.

As to where things are currently? The USDe project needs hard working people, connected people who are willing to get behind an established currency, volunteer their time and expertise to help move the USDe project forward. Priority #1 is marketing and getting the coin recognized by online retailers. This will follow a surge in its value, which will inevitably lead to renewed interest in the project. Ultimately, we would still like to move away from Scrypt algo and move into a more efficient mining algorithm, but this will require us to find a DEV who is skilled enough to test and implement this in the source.

As for the original premine, after the initial break up of the original DEVs, bounties that were too generous and a slew of targeted scams, the development fund is dry. However, this doesn't mean that the situation is hopeless. I personally handled 99% of all marketing for USDe and have time to devote to the project for the rest of this year.

With the right people behind the wheel, USDe has huge potential. We were once worth 500+ Satoshi and were one of the more popular, top 50 coins in the market.

Thanks for stepping up! I always thought USDe had great potential and often wondered why it was slowing dying on the vine. So, now we know, now we can start to bring it back as well.

I personally don't have much time to donate but, I will do what I can online to promote and get the word out, at least it's something...
