Nxt Decentralized Internet video - alfa version: http://youtu.be/RtTWUwRL9mQ(created between 20 Feb-8 March) I would be very grateful for any comments and suggestions. It still needs some time, but it already can be commented Based on the paper: http://justpaste.it/decentralized-internet(created between 12-18 Feb) And good night, its almost 6 AM here I like your idea. A lot. But this really needs to be better structured! - it's alfa version, I know. Terrible music. When talking energy efficiency - the numbers and calculations: Out. Nxt forging on mobiles. Good. No supercomputers or mining rigs. I think mentioning what is "soon" to be build, is a bad idea. Nobody should trust your words. So show them what is. Don't make claims. You tell them what is POSSIBLE to create. Then how is this wonderful creature secured? How many nodes, in how many places? Who run nodes? Why should I think, that this is really happening, and not something that will die in a month? You got Andreas' permission? People will think he is BCNext… Think about who your audience is. You may want to make different versions instead of one long.

Wikipedia should not be used to promote yourself. I hope the article gets deleted soon.
Nxt should be promoted in mainstream media. It needs to become notable. Once that is done, it will show up in Wikipedia -- without you doing anything.
I hate when Wikipedia is abused for self promotion
Sorry? Have u ever looked at the article I wrote? >>> http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/NxtI invested more then seven hours to write, translate and compare the different cryptocurrency-articles in the german wikipedia to strike the right note. This was not just a copy of an early article! As you can see it is already reviewed and with some little changes now allowed to stay. It is absolutely crazy that there was in this stadium no article! Do you really think somebody who is not interested in cryptocurrencies will write articles about it in wikipedia? No. People with interests have to start it and others will review them and so on... there is nothing wrong about starting articles of your own interests. This is integral in the logical wiki-structure. This one seems to have slipped through my net completely! Can we get translators on this ASAP? And thanks to w4llace!

To complement Damelon's thoughts, which I generally agree with, I like THESE options: So the banners would be: 300x250 620x79 728 x 90 animated[/li][/list]

How will the stand look like in Amsterdam? Are there rules for each coin? Or are we free to create something to promote NXT?
If we can get that clear. Than we can design posters or we can design the whole stand or something.
Let me know and I will come up with some ideas.
@Fatih: Thanks for the offer, mate, all of the stands at Amsterdam are going to be pretty much identical, the organisers want to provide stand displays for all the exhibitors. We will therefore need to be able to supply really good logos that can go to a fairly large print area without turning into pixelated poop, but I won't have any info about precise sizes for a week or two. We will want some other good promo material, so feel free to get creative, for example on brochures, t-shirts, key-cords..... I also have a slightly secret project, tho, I'll PM u some more info. On the subject of conferences: Got the bill for our 'contributing sponsor' registration from the Bitcoin Foundation. Do any members of our lovely new marketing committee want to take it from me and get it paid ? (its €1500, u'll be happy to hear.) Congratulations, guys, btw ! Is there an official channel to submit requests for funding yet ? Or do I just ask nicely here ?

EvilDave: it depends - can it be paid by Bitcoins? If not, then we would have to transfer Nxt to you or Damelon and one of you would have to exchange Nxt/Btc/Euro PS: could a video guy ask for a free Press ticket?

EvilDave: it depends - can it be paid by Bitcoins? If not, then we would have to transfer Nxt to you or Damelon and one of you would have to exchange Nxt/Btc/Euro PS: could a video guy ask for a free Press ticket? Yes, the billing is in BTC. There's no real rush to pay it, I'll send u a copy of the invoice soon. We will need to decide soon how many registrations we want. We have one included with the stand......but how many others do we need ? Early tickets (til March 15) are €370, after that €415. Media passes are fairly tight, but free: Media pass Only actively covering, legitimate media will be considered for a media pass. Analysts, Market Researchers, Marketing/Advertising firms, etc. are not included in the Bitcoin 2014 definition of legitimate media. If you fall into this category, but are a contributor to an outlet that meets our qualifications, you must be on assignment, and provide a Letter of Assignment from your Editor. Passes will be confirmed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed solely through the EventBrite registration. Once approved for a Media pass, you will receive an e-mail confirmation from the Bitcoin 2014 team that will provide further details.

Update on the branding: - I have been terribly frustrated this week, because the people I asked didn't deliver - Today, I decided to call them again and give them a last chance to come up with something to actually show and use. - The agreement I have with them now is that I decide if it's good enough to form a basis to continue work, or to stop. - If I think it's good enough, I will show it here. If it is not, i will inform you here. I find it very frustrating to work with people who don't deliver and am quite angry right now. This weekend we wíll have an answer to this and I sincerely hope it will work out. If not, my commitment stands, and I will continue in a different way to work on this, as it ís important! Well, two days since this post ánd their promise to deliver and ZILCH. Tomorrow, I am going to call them and tell them I am cancelling this and to express my disappointment with their attitude. I will also compile the questionnaires that you all have sent in, so at least that work won't be for nothing. I still think we need resources like this, so will be thinking on how to get these. If anyone has any ideas on that, the field is once again wide open. I am ashamed that this has come to nothing and am truly sorry for the fact that this has fallen through.

Damelon: Shit happens and some people are just plain unreliable. I could trot out another line of cliches about success versus failure, but I won't. Except to say that failure is just part of business, and all we've lost is some of your time. Sorry.... Still, we do already have pretty good and almost coherent branding. Maybe it could do with a little tidying up? Sounds like a good project for a newly elected marketing committee......or: so we will hire Fatih87SK then
Conference is looking good, though: Is our speaker completely confirmed, Damelon? I've sent the stand billing to Salsacz, but how many more passes do we need? Looking into RaspPi building, Ebereon will help, but is AFK for the next 10 days or so. Need to get promo material. Do we recycle stuff from Berlin and Texas or make our own? If Damelons camera dude can get press accreditation, we can get him in on a media pass for free. I could also try to get an extra media pass by engaging evil, sneaky mode. I'm off back to INF.....

chanc3r is confirmed, yes. He took days off work for this. Do we already have a speaker spot, or is he there as technical question guy for now? If he has to speak, we need to know on what. I don't know about others, so can't comment on passes, except to say that if we add others we must have passes. Good that Ebereon will help. So that means we have a RaspPi. Let's get that confirmed as soon as he is back. Can you take care of the press accreditation? Or do we need to do something else. Just give me the word if you need anything from me or him.

Let's get that confirmed as soon as he is back. Can you take care of the press accreditation? Or do we need to do something else. Just give me the word if you need anything from me or him. In reverse order: Press accreditation means a letter from a recognised press organisation. Here are the rules: Media pass Only actively covering, legitimate media will be considered for a media pass. Once approved for a Media pass, you will receive an e-mail confirmation from the Bitcoin 2014 team that will provide further details.
If your camera dude has press affiliation, he should be able to get his editor to sign off on a Letter of Assignment. AT5 will probably cover him, if they can use some of his material. In order to get press accreditation, you have to get a friendly news organisation on board, or set one up yourself. RaspPi will happen, gonna wait for Ebereon, unless someone else in Europe with RPSolar experience wants to jump in. Or I'll just build it myself.......might need help with the Linux bits tho'. Chanc3r: It's great that he's stepped up. Adds much needed technical depth to the team. I (or someone, but we are in the INF-COM together) should have a chat with him soon, find out what he would like to do (keynote speech, panel, q+A ) , get some background info and then get on to the BTC Foundation to get him on the program.
