still keeping an eye on things.   Seems to have smoothed out somewhat and nice to see more pools.

Question though.

How long is the "invite only" pool going to have more than 50% of the network?  They have had more than 50% for 20 hours about.  It started at 80%!?   I notice they have found more than double the blocks of any other pool.

I had just thought more than 50% to a single place wasn't great.   I would not feel comfortable mining, yet, until hash rate is divided enough to be fair.

I think you are forgetting. This is a coin for the community...  the community of devs, and stakeholders, and elite Tongue  Follows typical human behaviour

as i said a few hours ago, when i posted optimized sets for single r9 290x (740 KH/s+), here are my sets for dual 7970:

GPU 0:  82.0C 2474RPM | 554.8K/563.8Kh/s | A:2448 R:16 HW:0 WU: 681.3/m I:18
GPU 1:  73.0C 2004RPM | 554.2K/563.8Kh/s | A:2224 R:32 HW:0 WU: 550.7/m I:18

ultracoinminer -o stratum+tcp://host:port -u youruser -p mineme --scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600 --thread-concurrency 8192 -w 256 -I 18 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-powertune 20 --expiry 1 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 --no-submit-stale --gpu-memclock 1690 --gpu-engine 1020

also working pretty well, low rejects, and the temp is also acceptable.

HTH Smiley
Just write.

Sup guys.
I heard this coin is perspective? So we decided to add it too:
https://freshmarket.co.in/index.php?page=trade&market=135

What does the u in uLTC mean?

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

since I've been watching there's 2 pools outside of the "invite" pool that seem to be doing okay.

I don't think there's a "best one" atm, I've tried utc.pool.pm and ultra.nitro.org. Both working fine.
Been mining on utc.pool.pm all day without any problems.

I mine on nitro.  I would never consider mining on the "invite pool," simply because they charged btc for invites.  Way to support the UTC community on launch, guys =(

diff went from 0.5 to 5.9 in less than 24 hours

People with big rigs are throwing serious hash at this, likely all the people who bought in.

Definitely doesn't appear to be a coin for the little guys or a replacement for mainstream currency but another speculative venture to convert to BTC then back to USD.

Had a professional look though, may as well acquire some and jump in on the bandwagon and see what type of profit I can make for the poor.
