Bah,  My antminers computer gaming portals seem to be held up at for least a day at US customs.  Anyone else have this happen to them?

No mine cleared yesterday. Which city is it stuck in?

Guess bad luck, mine went to kentucky via alaska. Try calling UPS they might know why its held up.

Got my miner today! Very impressed. The shipping was blazing fast. It has pcie connectors built-in, so all I had to do was plug my tx650 PSU straight in. Took a few minutes to get it setup, it might take longer if you aren't familiar with basic home networking. I am very satisfied with my order. Tempted to order 1 or 2 more. Getting about 179gh/s. I might test wattage later. I set it up on it's own account at btcguild so I can see exactly how long it takes to make ROI.

Would recommend 10/10

and i cant access the rig without the the ether cable, despite it hashing via wifi....

check your ip address on wwan interface (Network tab in antminer configuration page) it will have probably different ip than wan so if u r on wifi try using this one from WWAN. If its same as wan then try this:
set WAN and WWAN to dhcp and after that it will work
but remember after change to dhcp your antminer will have diferent ip address and you will need to find it via router or some network scanner

I can connect to it and pass all the pool details hit save & apply - which doesn't work it stays at applying settings, and its NOT MINING.
Tried rebooting, and didn't help.

I need to get this up and running ASAP.

On the other hand I managed to phone UPS and pre pay customs fee so they don't bloody charge me twice and call me a liar when I tell them I have paid already.

UPS have room for improvement also hope mychoise opens worldwide but for now they deliver in good time * I hope*

What do I do?

Once details are applied(save&apply) turn off from power your miner and than reconnect again. After 1 minute with power on miner should start mining(if details of pool and worker are correct).

Yes, wifi is built in, but you need to buy an antenna yourself.
It doesn't come with an antenna, probably to safe cost.

Glad I bought a 16 port switch today then My ants should be showing up today, looking forward to putting my Asicminer Blades to shame. Guess it's time to finally ditch them!

Look like they are all stuck in Mumbai... UPS told me they are still going to try deliver tomorrow. No idea how as Scotland to Mumbai is very far unless plane is direct to my door no chance Sad Monday looks like it :/

An update in case anyone had the same issue; my order now shows that it has been paid, but still expired. I guess everything is OK.

I just took a look at my order status, and it says unpaid and expired. I paid right away (within the hour) and the transaction has 6 confirmations. Does the payment need to be verified manually by Bitmain before it shows as paid, or is there a problem with my order?

Thanks for confirming. That would place your payment time at 9:55PM in China, where as my order was paid at 12:31AM Chinese time. Maybe that has something to do with it.

but you would of thought that BITMAIN would of posted a note about order cut off times / dates !!!!!!

Best case scenario for me is that they actually manually verify payments and nobody was working at 12:30am over there. 9:55PM is pretty late to be working too, so I'm probably wrong about that. I'd imagine that they must have an automated system to confirm payments.

Bummer.. latest ANT came with a bad PWM fan (very dusty and used looking).. emailed the support contact on the website.. will see what happens regarding a replacement.

The one I just received looks like it has lived a hard life. Front heat sinks completely choked with lint and dust build up. Looks like Bitmain is selling the farm.  

EDIT I bought this directly from Bitmain not Sushi. The one Sushi sent from the last group buy was new and still runs the best of all.

Interesting.  Doesn't seem like a wonderful/sustainable business model to sell things off that aren't even cleaned-up.

Less than 2 minutes with a toothbrush should have made it appear a bit less dirty!
