I think your investment will be more unstable. Litecoin is a mandatory independent coin. It is not recommended to buy it. Ripple is the top three coins on the market!

The both coins are very solid investments with good partnerships I must say. It would be good to spread your investments over the two as the two can get you decent gains. This is my advice

I would never choose just one coin to invest with have you never heard the saying "Don't put all of your eggs in one basket"? Having seen all of the press surrounding Litecoin with the creator selling his tokens and then their approach to pornhub I don't feel comfortable with their ethics. Ripple has a sound business usage in the financial sector and I am sure it's value will once again grow as its usage increases. If you like both of the coins then invest in both

I agree with you and if you can buy both litecoin and ripple, then why you only buy one coin? it is better to buy litecoin and ripple but if you only have limited money, then maybe ripple can be a good choice for you. but if somehow, you can get a profit from selling another coin, don't forget to buy litecoin too as litecoin is a good coin too that will increase in the future.

Litecoin is an analog of bitcoin, only its transactions are faster and cheaper. Ripple is a technology aimed at improving the performance of the banking system, as well as making payments and transfers between organizations cheaper and faster. confirmation of this - the developers ripple concluded several major transactions with financial systems. despite the fact that Ripple does not use the traditional blockchain, but xRapid technology, which is different from that used by most banks, several large exchanges were informed about the addition of the coin at the beginning of the year. this can positively affect the value, and also it will be superfluous to say about the price of these two crypto currencies - Ripple is much cheaper. I believe that it is the Ripple that has a greater potential than Litecoin, that's why I choose it.

If you will going to hold it for one year then both of them would be the best choice because Ripple has some quality which helps you to make a good amount of profit and also it is in the top three, litecoin would also be a good choice.

Hello everyone.
I want to buy some coin and hold it for at least 1 year. What should I invest on, ripple or litecoin ?
You should invest in litecoin as it is having more investor confidence right now as people can sell their Ripple if the Ripple will be considered as a security and the way news are coming now a days i believe that the day isn't far when US will start considering Ripple as a security, so it's safe to invest in litecoin than Ripple.

In my own opinion, investing on altcoins will be much better if you will be focusing on ethereum because those two coins that you have mentioned is not really good because the potential is not that high in the market.

According to my knowledge, ripple would be a better investment when compared to litecoin. They are both widely known and trust worthy coins but I think that that ripple is very different from other coins and it is an attractive coin. Its price is very less too. So it's a less risky investment.

Now and again the issue of purchase and hold is extremely subjective and I would guidance you consider the market incline precisely before you purchase. As to which coin to contribute relies upon your advantage, however in my own particular manner it would be best you put resources into litecoin.

Of these two coins, I would choose Ripple. It often grows in price, especially when the market situation is stable.

Don't investing in both the coins (Ripple nad Litecoin). Many people do not believe in that coins, because Ripple and Litecoin is very difficult to grow. But i suggest you to invest your money in Ethereum. It's a strong altcoin in which there are many prospects and have good platform for future than Bitcoin. I hope my answer can help you.

As far as I know ripple is better than litecoin. Ripple belongs top 5 position in this market and ripple are more trustful than litecoin. So I suggest you to invest on ripple coin.

The two coins in questions are very good coins to me but has different potentials to strive when it come to market price. Ripple and Litecoin are good but i would rather say you invest in Litecoin which has the potentials to strive with it competitors in crypto world. Although this two coins are difficult to grow frankly speaking.

Ripple is the better option, it is a decentralized coin so you have more freedom with it. I know that right now litecoin looks to be doing better than ripple in terms of prices but i have no doubt that in the long term, ripple will end up doing better than litecoin, even overtaking it because people believe more in ripple than they do in litecoin.

Well first of all you can't buy RIPPLE.  Unless you are an accredited investor and are able to buy shares on the secondary market.  Ripple is a payments company that sells software to financial institutions.  You can buy XRP however, the decentralized digital asset that was created BEFORE Ripple the company existed and many were given to the team at Ripple.  Now that this is cleared up XRP is no question the best long-term investment in the crypto space.  It's the fastest, cheapest, arguably most secure and by the end of 2018 will be THE MOST DECENTRALIZED digital asset in the world.  They are expanding into every corner of the globe and are improving liquidity worldwide.  It will be used in production by at least one top 10 global bank this year for settlement and likely dozens next year.  Oh, also Coil and Codius.  Do some research on these.  Litecoin is an improvement on BTC but lacks liquidity and doesn't have a pipeline for either large scale retail or institutional adoption.  Nearly everything in the crypto space is speculative except for XRP and FCT that I've seen.

Sometimes the issue of buy and hold is really subjective and i would advice you study the market trend carefully before you buy. As to which coin to invest depends on your interest, but in my own way it would be best you invest in litecoin.
