I'm hoping this will fix it...but lets see what happens over the next few hours...it's beer o'clock.

--expiry 20 --scan-time 10 --queue 0 --no-submit-stale

Well, I just read this, and though 'I'll give this a try too', then looked at my miner, and it was all stuck.  So, Maybe this is just what I need right now, LOL.  Wish I had thought to note the errors, now I can't remember Tongue  I'll report back after a bit Smiley

Wow, it's doing great so far, reporting better hash/s than my miner (186 vs 224 on my pool's website)  Thanks  Cheesy

U use these for gpus right? for cpu shouldn`t work right?

correct

Miners are all still getting stuck. stop/start sgminer is the only thing that gets the work and the share rate going.

This must be having an impact on the pools?

I don't know why mine errored out when I looked at it, and I don't know if this is helping or if it's just benign, but it's still hashing away and looks good on my end.  The hash rate still looks good, though it goes up and down a bit.  I really have no idea what might be happening, but if it's only dropping in hash rate, could it be they're sensitive to the heat build up? Maybe getting a bit old?  Or have you checked to see if the fans are running?  They can die out on ya, but one wouldn't expect all of them to go out at the same time.... I really don't know!

This guy is Anonymint v2.0.

"Hey my cryptocurrency which is coming out <insert uncertainty here> will address all these problems by <insert cloudy description here>, to give you a hint. It will also stop GPU mining entirely by <insert other bullshit here that never materializes>. The trick is <some allusion to CPU technology> which will <insert generic hype statement>. As the world's smartest man and <insert ego> I know this is possible. Have you seen how long I've been around? I've been on forums for some other shit and dick measured there for years, doing <insert glass of egojuice here>."

Sadly for Anonymint v2.0, he lacks the grammar and technical knowledge of v1.0 .

Hey, you can possibly make some coin by selling trolls this fill in the blank post.  It will save them time (and misspelling/bad grammar).  Good deal for them, I'd think!  LOL

Hash rate is fine.

Share rate is the one that is the problem. The miners just sit idle not doing any work calculations - maybe 1 or 2 a minute. start / stop sgminer and the work rate turns into work every few seconds.

OK, first off, the wallet compiled in Xubuntu 13.10 WITHOUT HOURS OF BUGGERING ABOUT FIXING STUFF, which is a first for me.  Thank you Darkcoin devs! Smiley

Now does this look right for my 270 rig:

conf file:
Code:
"auto-fan": true,
    "gpu-fan": "80-100",
    "temp-cutoff": "85",
    "temp-overheat": "80",
    "temp-target": "75",

    "worksize": "256",
    "intensity": "18",
    "thread-concurrency": "6336",

    "api-port": "4028",
    "api-listen": true,
    "api-allow": "W:127.0.0.1",

    "failover-only" : true,
    "no-pool-disable": true,
    "no-submit-stale" : true,

    "queue": "0",

    "kernel" : "darkcoin",
    "kernel-path": "/usr/local/bin"

Performance about right for 270s or could I extract more?
For scrypt/scrypt-n I usually specify core/mem speeds, haven't here, just stuck a pool in the example file that came with BAMT 1.6. (sgminer-sph)

Any help welcomed!

I have a couple 270s that run at about 1.37Mh. Just bump your clock speeds to ~1130 core / 1500 mem and you should be all set. You can also turn the fans down on them, they don't need to run at 2.8k rpm when your GPU is so cool Smiley.

you guys are being delusional cheerleaders and fanboys and trying to reason with any of you in the slightest is pretty much pointless.. your blind period.
and i have the experience from inspecting and watching coin after coin go down here and inspecting miners and coin source long before most of you got here,
kissing coin cloners ass's.. if i was wrong one of YOU would have "put up" putting me in my place but what has happened actually
is 3 of the negative points i made was confirmed by you guys after.. so i have already put up or i should say you guys have for me lol

You are acting like an arrogant, all knowing oracle, master of C++, cryptocurrency etc. trying to explain everyone else - who you deem as inferior, dumb, fan boys etc. - how all the altcoins are clones, scams etc.
If you are as good as you say you are, why not develop something or help others, rather than wasting your and others time on pointless discussion and false accusations?
Evan has done more in several months than you did since joining bitcointalk (and will ever do - my educated guess).

Either be constructive or pack your bags before getting any more annoying than you already are.

So I have a question for the community here about X11 mining on Darkcoin:

I'm mining with two sapphire R9 290x Tri-X cards. I run SGminer 4.1.0 and use a .bat file to start it and CGwatcher to keep things going.

Usually I set my --gpu-threads value to "2,2" but recently I tried setting it as high as "10,10". When I do this then in SGminer I see my hashrate go up to about 3.5 to 3.7 MH/s per card (from my usual of 2.7). This is awesome, however I start getting boatloads of stale shares. On the dashboard on my pool (lotterymining or coinmine, either one) I see a super low hashrate of like 1.2 to 2.0 MH/s, when it should be up near 7.0 MH/s. Does anyone know why I start getting all these stale shares when I put the threads up?

Thanks, getting 1.275MH/card with I20 and 1050/1450 clocks @ 49C. WU up to 0.080-0.084ish. Have also lowered fanspeed Smiley

Bit nervous of clocking up further, best I could do on scrypt-n was I18 and 975 core (1250 mem gave best hast weirdly) without HW errors creeping in. Will leave it overnight and see if it's still chugging happily in the morning.

Have another two 270 rigs currently mining vertcoin, but temps are getting a bit tropical in my garage/gym. This might be my summer coin.

Loads of coin's devs are talking about copying darkcoin's ideas, but darkcoin devs invented them. It just gives darkcoin more publicity.

Yeah it's definitely great for summer. If it makes you feel any better I mine 24/7 with my 270s @ 1130/1500 and I have zero issues with them, they take overclocking quite well. Not sure what brand you have though (MSI for me) and that could make a difference. Of course there's also driver/bios/undervolt/all that fun stuff if you really want to tweak it.

Dammit, one GPU went SICK. Dropped to I19 and 975 core, will see how that goes... the ones in this rig are XFXs which do not have a stellar rep but were dirt cheap. Other rigs are Sapphires, and Gigabyte Windforce jobbies, which will hopefully take a bit more abuse when I get around to it tomorrow.

You run 270's at I19? My 270x's run best at 13.

The Gigabytes are so much better, 5C cooler and literally half the noise. Well worth the extra few £s.  Mind you if I was building another rig I'd go with 750Tis or whatever the new Maxwells are when they arrive... 2MH(X11)/120W/£150... I hope, haha... Smiley

Well I am now as I20 killified one of them after 30 minutes. Wink  Fingers crossed.

What clocks are you running? Maybe I should drop the intensity and up the core/mem speeds? I'm new to X11, still experimenting.
