so is it worth mining this coin with 2mhs?
I don't know, but I'm mining with my computers getting a lot less, LOL. I think it all depends on how much each coin will be worth in the future. I think there is a possibility that it could replace bitcoin, but I doubt anyone else is that optimistic. There are a lot of things that could go wrong, so my future view could be pretty improbable... I have no idea if it's worth mining.  I'm with you, in the future this coin could reach 100BTC worth, Darkcoin have a lot of coins less than BTC. |

Being realistic though, there is a tremendous amount of money invested in bitcoin as well as infrastructure. Darkcoin has it's place in the world but it's most likely not as number #1 cryptocurrency. Although it can be #1 in a lot of aspects and gain tremendous value, absolutely no doubt about it. The important thing is being down to earth about it and not forcing the coin to grow artificially like scammaxcoin for example. |

Anyone mining with a R9 270 or R9 270X? What are your configs and MH/s?
getting 1.3 on an msi 270x with: --thread-concurrency 16768 -I 18 --temp-cutoff 83 -g 2 --gpu-engine 1175 --gpu-memclock 1500 runs about 14c cooler than 450khash scrypt mining to boot. Just tried this on my xfx 270x and getting 1.3 too. Thanks for sharing! |

can anybody who has been using sgminer confirm how stable it is on windows with 13.12 drivers?
Just wanted to check before leaving my miners alone all night.. would hate to wake up to machines that crashed.

Who's running r/DRKCoin? I'm a fan of the header but it would be nice if the main page was the normal reddit format for readability.
Also, seems like there are two subs (the one above and r/DarkCoinCrypto) we should consolidate these as it's confusing to have two of them and it would be good to have more of a presence there. Looks like the coin creator is the moderator of r/DarkCoinCrypto and it's in the first post here so that would be my preference.

Well, I'm officially gonna stop mining after all I said. It's so much work to keep an eye on, and I really have a hard time using my computer. I haven't gamed in a month! LOL.
So I'm gonna relax
Im gonna game etc...
I have my Amazon tiny pointed at lottery coin, but it gets so little.
So, if I had a dedicated mining rig, sure I'd keep mining this coin, but now I'm pooped and want to get back to normal, LOL
I'll be there on Wednesday though to see how the test goes!!

Didn't realise one already existed, I did search but DarkCoin hasn't had much of a social media presence until now. I never heard anything from the devs whenever I mentioned it so I assumed they knew about it and were just busy. I'm happy to consolidate subreddits with the official one. I did all the css theming yesterday, it still needs a bit of work. Would be good if that could be transferred over to the official one too. Eduffield? |
