I had an idea..  Wink Darkcoin also need a currency vector...
Maybe this is a good start. Combined the letter D and the two lines from euro-char €.
If you want I can provide the PSD-vector file for further improvements.

These are really clean.  I like this look better for DRK.  Well done!!

I GIMPed the prototype for a few edited variations (sorry for the pixelization in the dark ones - just to get an idea).

DRK withdrawal at poloniex is not working!

Still waiting for a mail to withdraw 75 DRK. No mail and no DRK.

Tweeted to owners... no answer so far.

Just resend the confirmation mail, sometimes they don't arrive, happened to me once or twice.

I have thought about a logo design too.

This is just an example of the D style and ring proportions, so no fix on coloring.

What was important for me, is the fact that it needs to be scaleable so that when you need a very small icon (e.g. windows taskbar icon or exchange sites) it should stay readable and recognizable.

512x512, 64x64 and 32x32 resolution

If you can play around and provide say 5-10 variations it would be nice Cheesy

The poloniex manipulation is nuts - they are killing the price and c-cex is staying stable - rising in fact.

Anyone know why polo is so easy to manipulate and c-cex not? It seems like they are taking buy/sells back and forth from one exchange to another and making profit that way.

Just asking - it seems this way and it seems like it could kill confidence.

**** this is just what it looks like to me - I am not an expert - and I have confidence in this coin - it's just annoying to watch.

I suspect that it's because people are realizing Poloniex may be insolvent because of the XCP debacle.  I'm not comfortable depositing BTC there right now to buy Darkcoin even with the current price discrepancy and the wonderful opportunity for arbitrage.

Care to fill us in on the XCP drama? I haven't been following that, what happened?

Start reading: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=395761.msg5237708#msg5237708 and keep going.  It's incredible.

In short, Poloniex is down 100+ BTC.

He added the XCP market back though with some security measures.  But I'm concerned with this craziness that there is some sort of new issue that the hacker is taking advantage of that is somehow involving DRK.

Obviously SOMETHING is very off.  I'm sitting on the sidelines to wait this one out.  It's not worth the risk.  Obviously everything may be fine and it's just some dumb trader with too many BTC, but it's confusing for sure.

We really need the volume to increase at more exchanges - c-cex is the other major one - what is the volume like elsewhere?

Holy market manipulation batman! I have to admit I have no clue whats going on today. Wow.

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014

Thank you for trying!
I'm still waiting for that programmer to wake up in America.
If you install Bitmessage, you can probably help him more with this project than I can as I'm in France until thursday and can only restart my cloudminers until then, no remote controll over my GPU's yet..  Undecided

The poloniex insolvency theory seems the most plausible to me. That is most likely causing people to do crazy shit on poloneix. I would pay more attention to cex.
