* It is possible that the Dark Knight themes, quotes etc can, perhaps, become quite “catchy” in viral propagation for all things related to DarkCoin.

Don't agree with that.  It is not necessary, and would only appeal to to prepubescents. I'd rather it was represented as a serious currency akin to Bitcoin, Litecoin, Quark or Vert, and differentiate itself from all the other shitcoins.

MORE TO BUY THan !!!

Big DUMP on Poloniex!

I am pretty sure those coins are stolen ones from Ddos attacks to pools, if you see the market rebalances the prices pretty quickly after the next candle stick.  Then this guy waits for the buying orders to accumulate a descent amout of BTC to do it again.  Pools of darkcoin need to protect againts these attacks then we can visit .003 etc, for the moment cheap coins!

Which pools were effected by the attacks?

I am not sure, I just read in some pages back about a user complaining that his pool have been Ddos attacked for the second time, so I figure out more than a couple, that will be a lot of coins, is like having at least a couple of hundreds gpus working for you, electric bill free.

This.

Be serious and let the coin win on it's own merits

I think Monero (XMR) is very interesting.

i dont believe the price will recover after that  Undecided

Yesterday it went from 0.001 to 0.0021 within a few hours (>100% rebound).

Lets say there are these buy orders:
100 coins at 0.0019
100 coins at 0.0018
100 coins at 0.0017
100 coins at 0.0016
100 coins at 0.0015
100 coins at 0.0014
100 coins at 0.0013
100 coins at 0.0012
100 coins at 0.0011
100 coins at 0.0010

Then lets say someone just wants to sell 1000 coins for whatever reason. What will happen is that he will eat all those 10 buy orders and the price on that exchange will all of a sudden be displayed as 0.0010 as if the value just dropped 50%. But there probably were people who would've been happy to buy at lets say 0.0017 but they saw that there already were higher bids and just decided to wait and see. If everyone who wanted to buy placed their bids at the price they are ready to buy at, this wouldn't happen. We would have massive amount of buy orders and someone dumping coins couldn't make a dent on that list at all.

What usually happens though, is people see that omg price is down 50% it's gonna drop to zero and panic and go ima sell asap at the lowest price possible. Then there are other people who see what happened and see it as a buying opportunity. One of the groups is right and the other is not. Everyone should evaluate which is which and act accordingly.

That's my understanding but ymmv. Smiley

+1

And we, as a powerful community, can simply hold and not sell that cheap. And price will eventually grow reaching new ATH.

Nevermind. We will have a perfect answer for DRK one year from now. HOLD IT LONG.

I had an idea..  Wink Darkcoin also need a currency vector...
Maybe this is a good start. Combined the letter D and the two lines from euro-char €.
If you want I can provide the PSD-vector file for further improvements.

These are really clean.  I like this look better for DRK.  Well done!!

You get A for effort, but the shirts look very generic and not something you have given a lot of thought.

I bought some bitcoin years ago, cashed out well short of what I could have and regret it all the time. Darkcoin has now gotten my attention. Sadly I don't have any money to invest.  Cry

I've been telling my friends about Darkcoin and trying to get people interested. If it does become the first truly anonymous coin, I think it will take off.  That's a game-changer.

Anyone feeling generous enough to help get me started on this wave? I will invest time and energy to spread awareness!
XrYfSpaK5W7F5BBpGihjsKLoYWWyTjTMz9

Man that really touched my heart, just sent 1000 DRK coins.

Mining this coin is like a dream! I sleep like a baby while running PC next to me.
Slow rpm , and low temperature.

Can anyone help me to start this this even sweeter? Thanks!

Xi3ZA7fjyUXj5K1hTvCMW7fPUFmQnp9vz5

You sure deserve it, just sent 10 000 DRK.

wow...ahem please?
XtijFQdCcPpKXmtjKF4xdpy6vCvJTymfzw

here you go bro, 100 000 DRK for you, freshly sent.

Dang baller! You hooked it up! Nice job.

Thought that would come off as a joke but apparently I've attracted the beggars now, 3 in a matter of minutes. How are you people different from beggars in the street, seriously? If this was Dogecoin I'd send a 100 doge easily, but that's like 14 cents worth of crypto and IMO the perfect amount to get someone started when they don't know about crypto and want to get into it. Sob stories on the internet on the other hand? You clearly already know about crypto and are now asking for a handout that you don't deserve at all. Not every cryptocurrency has to have a tip bot and people giving it all away to imitate dogecoin...

LOL. Yea I don't beg. I make my bones the old fashioned way.

Newbie question: If i mine at P2P, should I use the same payout address as username for all my PCs or a different for each?
I generate a new address with a meaningful label for everything I do. For each exchange, each miner, each giveaway, users and so on.
That way it's a lot easier to keep track on where it's coming from, what miner is more efficient, how much you made from that server rental and whether someone that owes you have paid back or not.
It's up to you, and it doesn't cost you anything to generate more addresses.
