The RC5 client is nice, love the darksend status messages and round information on the overview tab. Much more end-user friendly!
I did my first darksend+ coin mixing today, 1000 tDRK 8 rounds worked flawlessly!

What is the roadmap for Darkcoin after Darksend+ is perfected and open sourced?
As was stated by Darkcoin's lead developer eduffield today:
Darkcoin will focus on providing a host of anonymity services using the Darksend implementation. This would mean my next project would be to rewrite electrum to use the masternodes to anonymize funds, then an android wallet that can use Darksend, then iPhone, etc. The foundation would also be tasked with trying to get businesses to accept Darkcoin and expand the user base. It means that ALL users will have an out-of-the-box nearly perfect anonymous payment solution, which could be a big deal in the near term future.

I was wondering if it is possible to send anonymous messages to an address with darkcoin. So that the reciever could potentially even read the message within his wallet. Kinda like BitMessage built into darkcoin. THAT would be so awesome. I know that I can sign a message with darkcoin, ... hmm... but not sure if this is the same. My goal is, to one day be able to send someone a serial number (or similar things) back after he anonymously payed me with darkcoin.

I think that would be a good next step once open sourced and fully stable and adoption is improving. I've been playing with testnet all morning and 8 round denom is working brilliantly. There are a few confusing issues that need tidying but from my limited testing I'm pleased with what I'm seeing. RC5 is what RC4 should have been although its easy to say that now

This is basically how the ip obfuscation tech works that I detailed a few weeks ago. It could very easily be turned into an encrypted messaging service.

It would be so nice this time around to managed expectations and quit with the "to the moon" bullshit. Let it grow naturally due to development and adoption, not just your typical P&D. The latter isn't healthy and leaves poor sentiment for those that buy the tops.

I'm a long time lurker of this thread and a poor bagholder of 42 DRK. I just wanted you all know that there are lots of lurkers here too.
i feel you bro...i have same amount of DRK god knows when i will have for MN I'm a miner since february and after I started mining with my four GPU rig, I heard aout DRK and started mining it. But I sold all mined DRK as soon as I get them from pools. if I hold them before the rise on May, I'd have more DRK now. Now I'm mining on multipools, mostly X11, and buy DRK with those BTC coming from pools. is there any profitable mining multipool which pays DRK? I mine here, they pay in DRK, can mine with asic/script/x11 www.xpool.ca

with asic, why mine any other coin besides btc direct? - in the end its BTC thats main coin to mine with btc asics
with gpu, why mine for some guys to trade for you? - when you can do it by your self, and this way you support darkcoin network more than some stupid "pools"
for me, from da the day one ... COINOTRON pool, most stable, never got hacked... etc

I have to say, I'm a bit disappointed we're not going the route of a DarkTor equivalent, but I understand and respect the choices made.
