Can our mystery address XxDotRpSDzgyAkx3jHkLZD8YYZRwbcjmmA be ghash.io?

https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-busiest_by_sum-darkcoin-addresses-2.html

That would be pretty fucking awesome. how to confirm?

That would make dark pretty legitimate...

It's not..ghash.io is on the list... 16 hours ago   219444   ghashio

2801   2015-02-13 12:21:05   219444   4.6439   120/120   an hour   1.56 Gh/s   0/5000048   0.00%   433670   0.00000000

although this says ghash.io...not sure how accurate! https://bitinfocharts.com/darkcoin/address/XxDotRpSDzgyAkx3jHkLZD8YYZRwbcjmmA

what the fuck... why would that say ghash? multiple dark addresses i guess...

couldnt pick between the proper resistance line, but were getting very close to a pivotal moment in the market. if we break up i think we make an ATH... at least in terms of Satoshi

2 hours charts about to turn positive. When we have4 hours charts get sync with it, we should take off. Posibly next rally point would be .018-.020, but expected to retract to .016 later on with some people doing profit taking.

v0.11.1.25 - MANDATORY UPDATE

Due to some pools taking advantage of paying the incorrect masternodes (on purpose), enabling enforcement failed earlier today. Please update to the latest version of the software, 11.1.25, which includes a much stronger policy for enforcing masternode payments. This will also cause bans on any clients mining on the wrong chain. After the entire network updates (Pools, Exchanges, Masternodes, etc), we'll activate enforcement again.

I didn't get paid for days because of these freaks, profiting on our back ...

We should be extremely careful with every major overhaul of the network ..

Our development cycles are going to start slowing down now that we have IX & DS out there and working properly.

I see you're starting optimizations on the wallet. Any idea on some outstanding features:

-Masternode Obfuscation
-Masternode Blinding (you mentioned about fragmenting inputs across multiple masternodes)
-2FA

Dude. The guy just created eCash for the first time ever.  Let him take a night off and grab a beer.

This.

(I think even these of us obsessively following Darkcoin developments would need some time for this to REALLY sink in)

This is a highly experimental work in process, mistakes and hacks will happen, if a few masternode payments are missed so what,  if this was any R&D project in a lab or industry, the prototypes would be tested by people with regular paychecks for months or even years before being realised into the 'main world' for consumers but that aint how it works in the crypto world.
On a personal note, I do obsessively follow the Darkcoin developments and think the whole setup is outstandingly creative and game changing , bring it on! Grin

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release.
Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5%
Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1)  = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

Maybe.  I still see plenty on the bid side on Cryptsy though.  This looks like a normal correction to me.   I mean the price just did over 2x in the last month.    Wink

Edit: Still a massive wall at 0.0100 on Finex.

That's what I said yesterday - if BTC continues to rise, there are some dumps on the road here, but if it's just "fake pump" story, then expect to see some huge arrival  Grin .

right. nevertheless i don't like the artificial touch this rise had driven by huge buy walls by a single person. smells a little like manipulation if you ask me. buy walls weren't touched and everytime the price got near those walls they were pulled and set a little lower.

At some point we* need to fix this thing with the pools "cheating" or deciding who gets paid. Enforcement is not a solution.

I know it's been tried and that it delayed development for months back in May-June and it's best (in retrospect) that we* focused more on DarkSend and InstantX, but masternode payments needs to get sorted eventually to be a decentralized solution where payments are decided by the protocol itself.

not done this for ages.....

Just downloaded latest wallet (25)
Renamed wallet.dat >> old. Currently 49 weeks behind. Slowly got up to 8 connections. Now pretty much stuck.

It will download a meg or two in the first 2/3 minutes, but then network traffic will fall to a pitiful level. Is this normal?
If I restart, it will once again download the first 2 meg quickly again.....then back to dead slow with very occasional spikes on the network traffic graph.

Could be way off base here, but I used to get exactly that is torrent downloads, and it was the service provider capping the bandwidth at certain times and/or you've gone over your monthly allowance and you've gone into an annoying web only browsing mode.
It could be flagging as a torrent due to percieved packet size similarity and transfer characteristics.

I tend to agree.  The wallet is something that should now be looked at.  Polishing up the wallet and having it auto update or at least notify the user there is a major update available would be very helpful.  It's actually weird that was never put in.  I believe that now that we have got awesome features that are downright unbelievable... I think the user interface needs to be looked at.  Every time I show newbies "crypto"  wallets they start to glaze over... Never mind talking about all the cool advanced features.

Just my 5 cents worth.  R.

That's quite a signature you got yourself there Honest Tim. Man… that child_harold certainly has a way with words, doesn't he?
You should check out his signature… apparently time can change a man after all.

Or do you feel child_harold now speaks with a sporked tongue?
You can't have it both ways Tim Wink

You'll forgive me for not being sympathetic to your problem.

At ease gents - i have no intention of posting any further in your thread.

Best of Luck with this cool project. Thanks.
