UK "Finance Minister".....
Is there something we're missing or are they just very slow on the uptake and implications? I can't imagine Georgie being so supportive when someone points out he won't be able to create inter-generational debt for endless wars or take cash back handers from the banks to be their lapdog any more. Fiat based gov. debt and real POW blockchain tech are not happy bed fellows.

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release. Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5% Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1) = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

Fiat based gov. debt and real POW blockchain tech are not happy bed fellows. They don't really care about the currency aspect. They care about the generation of tech jobs, plus the jobs to support start-ups. London is also a financial capital. So it makes sense to open the doors for all sorts of business models that might disrupt the geese in the City that seem to lay millions of golden eggs every single second of every day.

Fiat based gov. debt and real POW blockchain tech are not happy bed fellows. I don't think "Georgie's" exactly the sharpest tool in the box when it comes to economics. If you ever watch any interviews with him he's like a stuck record if the interview at all wanders "off script". He just regurgitates the lines given to him by his advisors in a different order each time. I'd be surprised if he even knew what the difference between a mortgage backed security and a corporate bond was. The thing about cryptos is this - it takes a very fundamental "back to basics" perspective on monetary mechanics to really understand what they are and to separate their monetary properties from their technological ones. Many (most ?!) modern day bankers, economists, politicians and even academics lack this perspective. They are like fish in the sea trying to imagine the concept of "being dry". It's impossible because the boundaries of their professional consciousness doesn't extend beyond "wet" and never have in the history of their careers.

Python advice.
I'm going through Learn Python the hard Way online, going pretty well. Got half way though without issues but had to stop for a few weeks. I'm going to start again from scratch all the way through, but dont want to stop there.
Is there any "de facto" books I should get? I shall be travelling a lot soon, and would love to get python 2.7.9 nerdy (not pro!) while hotel surfing . Mind you I have zero programming skills, except when I was doing BASIC stuff at age 14 (pun intended).
My goal is not so much become a hardcore dev, but to be able to look at code and eventually port stuff to DRK.
Suggestions?

BTC looking weak (determined seller selling into a low-volume market). Break of $232 should bring about $208 pretty quickly and then a break of that should lead us back to $150-$180 and a legit double bottom finally (hint: that double bottom will likely be the lowest price we see this year/decade/century/millennium). "Longer"-term (1-3 years out) a run up to $20k per 1 BTC wouldn't be out of the question.
My guess is DRK will do quite well in the short-term in relation to BTC declining to a double-bottom... Who knows about the longer-term. Chart looks nice though.

Finally some good luck! I love watching the increases and saved the links everyone posted, thanks. 40% is huge but 50% will be very symbolic. The future is bright for darkcoin.
