IIRC he dumped around 50,000 DRK from about 0.013 down. With the price now at 0.023+ at a minimum he would have seen an extra $122,500.

Concerning the rename, I figure it'll be mainstream once separate populaces give it a pet name. Like "Looney" or "Tooney" for my local currency (Canada)

Well, around here, the dollar has a basic tradition of being called a "buck".  However, money in general is referred to as "bread", normally in conjunction with the word "man" as in:

"Dude, you got some bread man?"  and spoken with a quality that suggests you are struggling to wake up.

I don't think anyone buying is going to be sorry if they plan on holding at least a few months, but I just don't want to see people suddenly panic and dump as fast as they bought causing a crash again.  It's just too much for my stomach, though I'll live.  It's just at my age, roller coasters are ... a bit much for me, LOL.

Last time that happened, and it wasn't with nearly as many coins, DRK spiked up to 0.027 of a BTC from nearly nothing (sub $ and when BTC was around 550-600 USD = $15 ~).  I would think if they were doing that, they'd have pushed us way higher than we are.  I actually think there is a good argument that the reason DASH is doing so well is because of the name change and the interview on Lets Talk Bitcoin with Evan Duffield.  But you have a valid argument.

Also, FYI, at the moment, I believe Otoh is out, just leaving his coins as is, I mean that's the last he posted.  So he says the price is currently as it is without his input.

Not to mention that the total volume since the evo incident is about 10,000 btc which pales in comparison to the 130,000 btc stolen. Basically, the stolen coins total to more than our entire marketcap... in other words, it makes no sense to launder through DRK/DASH.

Plus if they where laundering through us then why is BTC crashing?
