I thought that according to Duffenomics, the masternode count was supposed to decrease with increasing price as people checked out. (i.e. the price of the collateral increases to less collateral is needed). Then increase as price reduces as a stabilising action.

As far as I can see the masternode has increased over the last week by about 100.

I was aiming for ~3000 masternodes by mid 2016 based on an return-on-investment bond model. The masternode networks fundamentals are pretty similar to that of the bond market, ROI being comparable to expected interest rates. Currently the expected interest rate of the network appears to be about 16%, as our fundamentals strengthen I would expect that expected rate to actually fall allowing more masternodes onto the network (if people feel less risk in having a masternode, they'll accept less return).

They are, but we are still migrating. A ton of work to do.

I have just finished the new version of the homepage, but I still need to redo the inner pages with the new theme. There are also a few new things that I hope will be ready in a few days.

What news? Nothing happens the on 25th other than an announcement and a listing of new websites/service names, etc.  I understand the buy the rumor, sell the news hype cycle with respect to new tech releases, but I don't think it quite fits the current rebranding situation.

I think all the buying is either 1) people who sold thinking the name change was going to sink us now desperately getting back in before their losses really balloon OR 2) people that liked the tech but stayed away due to the shady name now finally buying in.

Yea, pain my ass.   Last night wasn't in a race to buy but waiting for 6 confirms was so painful.  Wanted to just purchase some, transfer back to my wallet, and continue my life.   Think it was over 1.5 hours to deposit the btc then only moments to buy and transfer the drk back to me.   

sorry to say this : " i really dont like use btc for trading when i try to use instantx " i hate waiting till one and half hour for depositing my btc....
